I doubt it does, as they mentioned it was basically wearable deco. Seems to be pretty rare, bet you could fetch a pretty penny for that.Update: double clicking doesn't do anything, no messages, just... nothing. Neither does equipping *as of yet*...
So either it has a hidden use, or no use at all
Any other details? Where was the Gypsy? Did you kill it? Was it right on the corpse? How many did you kill before you found it?
I have been killing all morning and just noticed something. I am using UOA and when I open the corpse the item count is always 2 more than what shows. So if there are 7 items it says 9 Items. If there are 8 items on the corpse it says 10 Items and so on.

Same happens to me, likely unrelated. It is almost always one more (or two as you say) item than there is on the corpse. Its something I noticed early on and even downloaded the EC to see what happened. Same thing though.. nothing extra or new on the corpses.

Please say you can imbue it! If so, gypsies are going to be droping like flies. . I haven't done this yet but if that thing is imbuable, then I'm gonna start. All you have to do is kill them and loot the corpses? Do you have to pick chests or can that be skipped?

Update: yes, you can imbue it...
- I killed it
- It was right on the corpse
- I killed about 4 camp spawn, i.e. maybe around 24 to 28.
- It was a gypsy in a camp near Wrong.

Yes, congrats and thanks for the extra info. You are very lucky if you only did 4 camps! I have done about 1000 camps now with nothing.

can you context menu it - do you have any old moonstones you can do something with - can you recall off the bracelet - can you gate off it? - and if I had to guess, the bracelet lets you travel between felucca and trammel ... somehow

Well just do the obvious and use a moonstone ://
- Can't context menu it.
- Can't recall or gate off it.
- Dropping moonstones (I had the same idea) on it does nothing, and doubleclicking a moonstone doesn't bring up a gump.
- Powder of Translocation (I love thinking outside the box
) doesn't do anything either.

Perhaps using a spyglass and trying to see if anything changes or can be done during the phases of the moons in UO? I think its just a colored named bracelet (strict deco), but doesn't hurt to try.
Can the Devs please give us some information? Is this the only 'rare' item? I don't recall anyone finding a check which is supposed to be less rare? Please Devs, more information please!! *begs*

Before everyone starts building high expectations, let me just say that the new items are cosmetic only, with no useful game effect. They are rare and hard to come by, and do something not seen in the game before, but that's it.

Can you please try and bring up the imbuing menu on it? If it lets you get into the menu then it's imbuable. It will say otherwise if it's not. I'm really itching to know lol. The fact that it changes color depending on where you are is really cool. I would love to have it imbued on my toons .

Since it's a moonstone bracelet, I'd check to see if it matches the moon cycles (using the spyglass.)
You might also see if it does anything during the UO night (check a time piece for the time.) For instance, make you glow... set nightsight, etc.
Might not hurt to try seeing if it interacts with other recent additions to the game, like robes and such.
Does it auto-update the color on the paperdoll, or do you have to refresh the paperdoll to see the change? I'd be impressed if they added THAT functionality.
