Can somebody please tell me why I'm constantly getting "the game client has crashed" message? I play the clasic client, and I never had this problem until the last patch. No bueno!

What is wrong with my game???

I downloaded cartographer and i had not crashed at all and after a bit of it running my game crashed 4 different times out of nowhere, not sure if that is the cause but i had not crashed on my new PC until i downloaded it and was running itCan somebody please tell me why I'm constantly getting "the game client has crashed" message? I play the clasic client, and I never had this problem until the last patch. No bueno!

I use UO Assist, and I have Vista (yuck). Could that have anything to do with it?

I havent crashed, but the lag is so terrible I can't play the 2d client on my xp or vista computers.
I also can't play 2d, My PC plays the EC client perfectly but the 2d clients game window splits in half and stutters really badly, It's just awful and unplayable.

Hmmmm. . . I haven't thought about trying the enhanced client. Last time I gave it a shot, I seemed to be too laggy, but anything is better than this constant crashing! I've been in game for five minutes and have crashed twice.
Yeah, I am crashing too a lot after the current client. Its annoying. They should put in a grace period upen crash/disconnect so you can get back in and resume play.

The guy is having the exact same problem as me, crashing client after the last patch. So suggesting something related to that is not trolling.

Lord Chaos, the Devs could take your idea and implement it, but it would take time to do so. They'd have to brainstorm all possible scenarios in which it could be exploited. It would be another new feature that has to be run past Quality Assurance. I'd much rather they spend time focusing on the bugs causing the client to crash to begin with rather than sidetracking and creating a "safety feature" so you don't lose your pots. I don't even think there were potion kegs originally, and recently they made it so you could stack pots, so just think about how life was for players way back when the game was crashing all the time, their dial-up connection was kicking them off constantly, and you couldn't even stack potions or make kegs, insure your gear, nevermind being able to log back in and still be alive. I mean, is it really that big of a deal? It's annoying, sure, but c'mon dude. Focus on something else. For example, when does your client crash? Can you reproduce it?
