More returning questions

Last played in 2003--just bought SA.

Frame of reference: When last I played Valorite was still top end.

Questions:

1. Is GM/Elder Blacksmith Miner worth having anymore or is it obsolete?
2. I read about weapons that can be made if you have access to Elf forge--as a Human do you have access ? If so-can you recall to it or ?
3. Any other forge around that would make elf/garg items for a human Blacksmith in Tram?

More latter but those will get me started on re-design --if necessary.

You might as well get Legendary Smith (and GM armslore). The new skill to add is imbuing. Whatever smiths make can often be improved on with imbuing. I don't think smithing is obsolete, just the function of a smith has changed. With the high end runics you can make some good stuff. Even with the low end runics you can make stuff and then imbue additional properties to make them pretty good. Also the smith can make stuff to help imbuing training or to get relic fragments from to be used for imbuing. If you are legendary all of this will be less costly. I don't know anything about elf stuff or what you are talking about. sorry no elf character and I hadn't heard about any elf forge items

Who can craft a Radiant Scimitar and where?

Armslore? Adds bonus at high level-thats new to me

As far as I know the regular radiant scimitar is craftable by any smith at any regular forge. However even at 120 smithing there is still not 100% chance to craft it. There are other radiant scimitars such as the true radiant scimitar which need a recipe you get from doing quests in Heartwood which is an elf place. Perhaps that is what you are thinking of. You don't need to be an elf to do the quests.

Actually that staement is outdated. I was saying: you need to have the Mondain legacy expansion (where elves were introduced), if you want to craft such a weapon. As time has passed, every active account got credited for that expansion.
