Where To Find Information

For those who are new or returning welcome back. I just wanted to take a moment to point out some areas on the forums here.

At the top you will find Sub-Forums such as

UO Chesapeake Events- There you will find almost all of the Event Moderator [EM] events that are going on. You will also find player run events.

Chesapeake EM Forum- Where you can communicate with the shard [EMs] Dudley and Vladimere. They announce information there as well such as event results, fiction and announcements.

The Shard Webpage- The News area and archives. It is being updated.

Chesapeake Directory- Information on Townships, EM RP characters, PvP, PvM and RP guilds, Maps, Alliances etc.

If you need anything just give me a buzz.

With the advent of 3rd party detection on the horizon, I wonder if there is a way for Vendors to advertise there products in game, separate from littering the bank floor with runes.

Maybe a bulletin board or something like that?

Any ideas.

There are a couple of websites where you can post your vendor name and location and register your vendor with them. The sites I believe use a 3rd party program to scan the vendors periodically and lets say you are searching for a hunters headress, you would search for that on the website and it will show all of the registered vendors that had one of those at the last update.

i guess said program would still work with a trial account guy but would be good to see something established in game.

i have dropped runes to sell my goods on the ground at luna bank only to see some asshat immediately pick them up.

Yes and the same thing happens with any kind of books that might be dropped to promote events and such. As soon as they're dropped someone stealth's in and takes them all.

So extremely annoying!!

Wow, thank you for telling the truth instead of locking the thread.

Thats because he cannot lock the thread. He is not a Chesapeake moderator and further more no rules have been broken so the thread wouldn't need to be locked.

As for the request we can try a sticky for vendor listings in the trade thread.
