A small part of the Stratics community is not the UO community.we as a community
this is starting to resemble a Senate hearing. That is way too vague and not an answer to the question. I'm asking you to be more specific on which scripts you think should be allowed, because I agree with what Phantus said that we as a community will never agree with scripting in general.
Which specific actions do you want to script? That's something we can discuss the merits of, not let "the community agrees are not harmful to the game." That statement really leaves nothing to discuss other than YES or NO.
that's true.A small part of the Stratics community is not the UO community.
I'm just asking what you consider to be a script worthy for EA/Mythic to consider to allow that is different than what we can already and legally do with macros. I'm asking a straight question for discussion, since you asked for it. I am part of the playerbase, so it IS (partially) about what I want.this is starting to resemble a Senate hearing.
I've answered your question. it's not about what you or I want, it would be about what the playerbase approves of.
Since you seem to have all the answers, just how small a part is the Stratics community compared to the whole UO community that disagrees with cheating? I don't think it is as small as you want us to believe. If it's so small, give us some provable numbers rather than more fluffy air. Prove it, and I'll shut up about this point.... if you can't then please stop yourA small part of the Stratics community is not the UO community.
Well, if it only takes normal intelligence, then it doesn't speak well for your intelligence level.Doesn't take a genius to figure out who the scripters/cheaters in the group are, now does it?
This would be my hope. We don't want to stop people playing, we just want to stop them cheating.Or, as someone in some other thread suggested, just prevent players from being able to log in until they turn off the cheater proggy.
