Cannot read PM's

Hi,
I have an un-read private message, i go to read it and get an error come up.
Then i try to read an old message and can not read any of them.
Anyone else have this problem? or how i can fix it?

I passed this on in the staff forums.

I had a user PM me a test. They got a database error, but I have a notification of a new PM, so it seems to be accessing the PMs/inbox that gives the error.

Anyone else having problems with Stratics' Private Messages ?

When I try to access my Stratics' Private Messages I get the following :

Database error
The Stratics Forums database has encountered a problem.
Please try the following:

* Load the page again by clicking the Refresh button in your web browser.
* Open the vboards.stratics.com home page, then try to open another page.
* Click the Back button to try another link.

The vboards.stratics.com forum technical staff have been notified of the error, though you may contact them if the problem persists.

We apologise for any inconvenience.

I tried reloading many times but always get this error message and am unable to read my PMs.

Anyone else having the same trouble ?

I am still stuck, unable to access them and always getting that odd error message.

I just noticed this thread after I posted mine........

I am also having trouble accessing my PMs and that includes INBOX and SENT messages alike.

Since someone else is experiencing similar difficulties it seems it might be more of a general problem.

I have no clue what to do to fix it.

Private Messaging currently down

Currently the private message system appears to be broken. I have notified people, so please be patient.
Apologies to those people who have sent me a pm about it - I'll read them when I can.
This also means, that for the time being, I can't issue any infractions. I'm taking notes. The folk that earn them will get them in due course

indeed.
The popup message notification works, that includes the title of the message and name of sender. So I know, when I can access it, that I have a message about pm's being broken.

it should also be noted that on the database error message the link for notifying someone (mailto: ) is not filled with a valid email address!

That has been noted, thanks. It would seem this problem doesn't affect everyone. The number of unread messages in my box has doubled.
