Hey all...
1st, I was asked to post this... the person that had scammed my friend has repayed my friend back the 38 Million. The slate with him is clean.

2nd.. Since I was unaware until today, and did not comment on that thread... I would like to apologize. The situation with my friend has caused a lot of drama. But we all know without a doubt... it will happen again to someone. I feel as though I may have caused trading or the selling of accounts on this shard to be barred from this forum...

I do think however, that it would be beneficial to be able to speak about it on here or PM others to find out if a person is trustworthy or not. So by not allowing it on here, may prevent new players from finding out where to inquire about the person who is selling the account. This forum facilitates in us all getting to know each other. Having quarrels in a tight knit community is inevitable... So again, I will re-iterate.... that I am sorry about what happened.. and that I hope SP doesn't fizzle out, because I am still somewhat new to the game.

Im friended with her on FB also and shes a great person...that is one Siege vet vouching for her...and ive been on this shard forever...I would trust her as much as my old time friends like Daniel,Kage,Forsaken,Tibs,Krystal,Pusher,Rick,Shak,HaHa-(maybe not his links)

I think you guys misconstrued what I was saying. I will probably never purchase anything from him again.. and IRL I have told everyone I know who plays on this shard the same thing. But I was posting it because he was scared his account was going to get hacked.... I never said that this means it is ok to do dealings with him. I personally will not... and I understand that Diablo will always be Diablo....

Wow I am sorry you feel this way... I Certainly do not know you either and value the the way trust must be earned. But I have never done anything that caused anyone to think of me, (BeLLe) on Siege as untrustworthy.

I always help others in any way that I can help.. I have transferred pets over to new people on here to help them out. I have even offered scrolls and regs to people for certain skills without asking for anything in return.... . I make a honest days pay working hard. If I want something I will not mind paying for it with my hard earned money. I do not need to go online and scam for something that does not belong to me.

I also am friends with people IRL who were on this shard for a very long time... People who have been on this shard since UO started. Personally, this shard probably isn't really good for me. I get disheartened when I get looted... I am a true believer of do unto others how you would have others do unto you. Karma is a pancake and I would never think of doing such an underhanded thing to embarrass them. But I guess in time you will see... if I even bother staying on this shard...

I started a character on Siege recently, largely due to posts like this. I like the idea that Siege is small enough that reputations still matter. It's very helpful to see posts vis-a-vis reputation. Pretty novel concept on my home shard, Atlantic.

Can you imagine if any of our rl banks and bank tellers functioned our bank accts. that way ? Oh we only steal money from our bank customers accts. whom we did not like, everyone elses' savings and checking accts. will be ok in our bank !

I think their bank as a whole then, would be out of business and perhaps said bankers with that sort of attitude would all hopefully become jailed eventually.

Any messing over of players on a shard where, said shard as a whole may be the last hope for players/customers of UO whom wish to continue to play UO, such as Siege Perilous, in the end harms it's entire reputation to some degree making it more like the other shards, and squelches possibly the desire for folks to play on this shard, as a whole cuz it reportedly had a better rep. as a whole shard...than some other shards.

Siege Perilous has always been a bit unique as a shard, less duping if any here, less scripting, less exploiting, less scamming of rl accts. etc. not perfect but far less ruined in those ways, than many of the other shards which have become more ruined, thus creating the dwindling populations in UO on many a shard.

Granted EA needs to step up to the plate to do more to protect its own investment, to squelch cheating, scamming, duping and more better than they do, for their own good thus for UO's good too, but anything we as customers do, should NOT be to further harm what remains of Siege which is oft seen as *better* than some of the other shards...ie Siege's reputation as a whole has oft also been about having more honest dealings than dishonest dealings here on Siege, among it's overall general population base, this shard's *rep* has also been too, oft what brings folks, to come try to play UO... here.

Any assult on folks's rl money or accts. or big ticket items in game, even if we do not like them at all or even if we hate them, still is no call to trash Siege's rep in the process. On this shard one can pk whomever they like dislike, love, or hate, cuz it is Siege.

Yet doing more harm to them or their accts. etc. would be similar those bankers that may just steal off their customer base of [only those whom they dislike], in the end it will ruin their bank, their bank's rep, the overall economy, & their own rep too, and possibly one day, imprison them.

Everyone is given a free will, to construct & sew up the cloak, of their own reputations though in rl and games, and or to help build UP the rep of Siege or tear it down. In the end though, everyone sees our completed cloak, for what it really is.
