Warning. Items Disappearing in Large Tower(s).

I've had a makeshift garden of decorative flowers locked down on the western wing of my large tower for little more than a year now. I know they were there a couple evenings ago. And I'm fairly certain they were there earlier this afternoon. But I log in this evening and discover that all the items locked down across the westernmost edge of that wing had vanished (presumably deleted; they didn't somehow fall under the stone pavers).

I suspect (without evidence) that it had something to do with the Gypsy Tent that had spawned nearby when I logged in. Perhaps when the Camp deleted itself; it also took everything on the nearby Z-Axis?

I'm not too worried about it (so far). It was just decorative flowers. But items shouldn't be disappearing or deleting themselves like that. Is anyone else having the same issue?

before you even said the gypsy spawn, I thought of maybe someone placing/redeeding a house under the wing.

any idea how close the spawn was? My only guess could be if the tent tried to spawn under your wing it would maybe unlock the items, and then they just decayed.

But even if that happened, never heard of that. sorry =(

the gypsy spawn is supposedly turned off for this issue. Those of us who have been trying to find the special loot have noticed them gone from their usual spots. It would appear they've missed one of the spawn points. Can you pm this info to Zig_Mythic together with the location of the house please?

I can clarify that I have logged in recently and discovered all the items locked down across the western most edge of the wing have vanished too! However I did not witness the spawning of a gypsy camp when I logged in as you did. I have not logged in for a little while, so this may have occurred some time back for all I know.

I've seen many years of these fixes not quite fixed..I take no chances.

I guess it's no different than when people were running boats under the old improperly placed homes at the shore. Only this time it's the npc's exploiting the bug!

Gypsy spawn is still turned off on Catskills.

They patched in the old gypsy tents from long ago. It's the tents that mess up the lockdowns on the tower wings when they spawn underneath them.

I find it strange that gypsy camps were not turned off globally. Strange that they would leave them "on" on a few shards.

Since well we know all the servers are located in different geographical areas I'd assume they had to have the gypsy's toggled one at a time so.....

Imagine if you will, an announcer you can barely understand, he refers to a [mutters], but you're not quite sure what he said. He seems to be eating something, or perhaps he's a little drunk. It's remotely possible that he just said something about the Scary Door.

It's a typical day in Fairfax Virgina, and at the Mythic Studios things are busy as usual. One of the developers is working on limiting the effects of a bug that has surfaced...
