It's been over four years, but here I am again. Where the time went is a question for another realm, but I am back and it's because I missed the world of the UO Tamer :)

So, here I am spending hours and hours in the Stratics forums and info pages just getting a feel for things again (So Many New Things!!). I am totally overwhelmed but little by little I am beginning to put things together again. You would not believe what one forgets!

And fellow tamers have been so nice to me!! Thank you guys on Sonoma!! (I'm sure tamers on other shards would be just as nice, mwha!) I have met some incredibly nice and knowledgeable folks, not to mention incredibly generous since this little kitty made her way out from under the couch, lol.

I do have a question, and this stems from having been given two (TWO!) greater dragons, which I had never even heard of before but gladly accepted :) My question is, is the Stamina figure locked? One of the Greater Dragons I was given had 119 stamina and the other was 56 stamina. It's been so long that I don't know if those figures will raise with training or not and I could not find info on that anywhere. I'm a lot behind the curve here, so forgive me for what must be quite blatant silly questions.

Having said all that, I would like to say the taming forum is a treasure trove of information and I thank all of you for your very informative posts, I am learning/relearning tons of info!!

Okies, thanks in advance for your input :)

Nice to be back.

Hah, you aren't the only one, taming is the main reason I came back as well. I missed my babies! Unless you have a bugged pet your dragons' stamina should train up to 125. You just need to have him/her spend some quality time chewing on something. A shadow elemental is a good choice for that... :)

I like training mine in the Trogg cave near Trinsic. Usually the dragon just mows over the poor troggs and with stealth/hiding on my tamer its easy enough to put the window in the background and work a different account/watch a movie.

Plus, troggs drop nice bandages. :d I have over 8000 collected from just training two dragons. :p

Greaters are great once they have been trained. I now do the paragon balrons solo. so there is something to lookforward to. some great ways to train you dragi are on the white wyrms, they cast spells, have a good wrestling skil and you can collect the leather from them to use your self or sell to the many crafters on sonoma. Also many guilds on sonoma do the peerless boss ie: lady mel. she is a great trainer for dragies. So just try to hook up with some of the guilds and have some fun...Oh and Welcome back!
