With the help of a few retired friends I have been able to build an archer plus suit and I am looking for some help to make him better. Really loving the archer as Sampires pretty much dominate spawns... He needs work and help and I am not sure where I should go from here.

Healing 72.9/100
Anatomy 109.8/120
Archery 109.8/120
Resist 100/100
Bushido 87.9/100
Tactics 108.1/120
Chivalry 50.2/100

Hits 137, Stamina 140, Mana 43
Str 135 (+25), Dex 140 (+25), Int 33 (+8), Max Stats 250
Resists 70/54/70/48/70
Damage 56-71, HCI 41, SSI 30, Damage Increase 100
SDI 3, LMC 15
HPR 6, MR 3, DCI 16

Items:
Mace and Shield Glasses
gladiators coller Replica
Spined leather sleeves (junk)
SwiftFlight + Feathernock
Crimson Cintcure
Cloak of Death
Essence of Battle 7str 7dex +30 Damage
Braclet 7str, 100 luck, 13 HCI, 13 DCI, 22 Damage Increase
Spined leather leggings (junk)
Rune Beetle Carapace
StormGrip
Talisman on Arms Removal

Thinking my Legs and sleeves need something better...
Thinking my braclet needs scrapped for something better...
Thinking I need a new bow with mana leach and a quiver...
Thinking there is a better cloak out there as well...

Any help on my template/suit would be appreciated. Pretty much do PvM right now.

I would suggest taking bushido to 120
chive to 65 or 75
more dex/stamina i would say at least 160
a mana leech bow is almost a must more mana regen fore sure will help
and try for 40 lmc
go with elf for 20 more mana
That should get you started but your close where you are at and also a lot depends on play style
I am watching movies with my kids or i would get more detailed
Good luck

Thanks for the advice. I went with Human but have a couple of race change tokens I can use to switch to Elf.

Looking for a good Mana leach bow and hope to find one soon. Can you suggest good stats for that?

Will also try to add some dex/stamina gear and push my LMC up a bit.

then hit spell, hld, velocity, stamina leech (if you are having hard time keeping stamina)slayer type if going against certain monster types etc

really depends on style and what you are fighting my all around general perpose bows

are ssi, mana leech, hit spell, and velocity if a bow if cross bow i use stamina leech or hld

If you don't want to use race change tokens, the Elven Heritage Quest is pretty easy and quick to do. There also a Human Heritage quest, if you want to turn back into human.

120 archery
120 tactics
100 anat
100 healing
100 bushido
120 resist
60 -75 depending if you get extra skill points from items

IMO 120 Bushido is a waste of time, put the 20 skill point to something more useful. If you build youur template with enough DI and with a slayer, eoo and cw you really do not need bushido. If your weapons dont have alot of MR or are not fast then try to get alot of mr from your armor or replace bushido with focus. Another benefit is to have 120 anat which give you some DI as well. Just thoughts

Thanks for all the comments and advice! I will get on later tonight and post where I am at. Just got a couple of new slayer bows that I am hoping will up mydamage output.

Well. Spent 45 minutes editing the post and it did not save. So will make it quick so I can get to playing. Going to take Storm's advice and maybe work velocity into my Bow and remove DI because it is already past 90 without it. Not sure if I am going to go to 120 Bushido but think i will go to 100 and see how it works.

Arch/Tac/Anat = 120
Resist/Bushido = 100
Healing = 80
chivalry = 60

Hi!
I run nearly an identical Archer/Bushido/Chivalry (ABC archer)

He is not nearly capped on skills, but this is pretty much the template ive been running... Great at killing champ bosses, very large damage hits.

Archery 115'ish
Bushido 110's
Tactics 100's
Healing 100's
Anatomy 100
Chivalry 100's
Meditation is now heading towards 0
(thinking about dropping healing for Resist spells, Chiv + Bushido gives nice healing buffs already. Healing is not used too terribly much)

He always uses a Crossbow/heavy crossbow with 30+ SSI, Stamina leech and Mana leech.
most hits on a monster will net back a nice chunk of mana.

Hit spells/velocity are not necessary for these weapons. 30+SSI/mana/and stamina leech are.

I am able to spam Holy light at spawns with the small amount of mana he has (around 35 mana). great for clearing fodder. Use Enemy of One on the big guys, and spam lightning strike for extra hit chance and damage.

His gear includes
Rune beetle carapace, mace and shield glasses, Stormgrip
jewles with 1/2 and 1/3 casting, plus HCI and Damage increase.

other crafterd gear must include
Lower mana cost/ hit point increase/ stamina increase (very important for faster swing speeds)

try to get your resists into the mid to high 60's.

good luck :)

Spoken by someone that obviously does not know much about Bushido...

To the OP-

Here is the template I use for my ABC archer-

120 Archery
120 Bushido
115 Tactics
100 Anatomy
100 Healing
90 Resist
75 Chiv

DO NOT swap out Bushido for Focus. That's the worst advice I've ever seen anyone give. You get mana from MR on your suit and HML on your bows.

Im just saying for an archer there are alot of other skill templates to use other than bushido. I love bushido on my fencer, but not so much on my archers. My HCI and DI is maxed out and by the time you add in DI bonuses from a slayer, eoo, and cw i am not really seeing a big OMG difference to justify putting 120 skill points into it. There are alot of weapons out there that just dont have the ml on it and the MR I get from the armor is better than nothinging but not enough to really help. Is focus the best, probably not but I do like having my stamina stay at max. I mostly pvm in tram and fel and do spawns in both, so I need a skillset that will handle both facets.

Not using bushido interests me because I don't have parry but it is real nice when I get a chance to honor something. It is hard for me to honor sometimes because I am usually in a full group and one of the other players does it first, but when I do there is a big difference. However I do like the buffs, heal and Lightning Strike. Lately I have been chugging down a few refresh potions during long fights however.

I know exactly what you are saying. Its great when you can honor, but given the number of times I get the chance to honor I just cant justify putting 120 points to it. With Chiv and Bush on my templates I use a ton af mana. Yeah yeah I know put ml on your weps, which I have I just dont like limiting myself to weps that only have ml on them. What about stamina? so now i need a wep with ml and sl, ssi, di. That is pretty limiting imo. I will probably come back to bush, i just need to try something new and get away from a boxed in set of armor and wep requirements.
