er, I'm poisoned ... sort of

My status gump shows me as poisoned (green HP bar) but I'm not. The poison I got was from a Dragon in Destard, and used Cleanse by Fire to cure it.

When I saw it was not going back to normal I tried getting re-poisoned and using bandages - heck even taunted a Greater to do it! Didn't work. Have also tried crossing server lines, logging out and back in.

I know it can get fixed ... but danged if I recall how to do it! Anyone?

this happened to me yesterday in medusa, insane lag spike followed by d/c. returned to find my life bar perma-green but not taking damage, logged twice to fix it.

least, that's what I tell myself when something gets stuck on my health bar.. I don't even try to fix it anymore

It's been happening for a while now and it's not only poisoning. It seems that if you cross a server line with a negative buff (mind rot, cursed, poisoned, ect.) there is a chance of it getting stuck. Most of the time I have to have someone or something cast the same de-buff on my char in order for it to go away.

yup - debuff foulups are real common in Old Haven when training up. I'd never seen it so persistent on the status gump before. It took 3 logout/login tries before it went away and was normal again.

I have a char that has been evil omen'd for the past 4 months. So far, remove curse, death, and apples haven't removed it. I don't use the char that much so I'm in no rush to get it removed (ie I'm to lazy to get evil omen'd again). I thought they had fixed the problem about a year ago when people were complaining about debuffs getting stuck and one of their solutions was to remove all buff upon death and people complained because it caused them to have to recast protection, reflect, ect. each time they died.
