If anyone is doing this quest there's a book locked down on a table on the shop porch with runes for both lieutenants and the first 4 locations (location 1 is marked on marble isle, you'll have to run from there - closer than running from papua)

And for anyone thinking 'what the hell is Ricardo's treasures?'.
Ricardo is in Yew prison, each day his ramblings include a clue to the location of the next book.
Avery is in the Cat's Lair. You need to speak to him to begin the quest. Use the key words 'Ricardo', 'Treasure' 'Hidden'. This gives you the starting point. Go to the warehouse mentioned in the 'hidden' clue and double click the grey chest there - get a lantern. The lantern works like the housing quest lantern. If it's lit when you get to the day's location you'll see a book. Read the book and report back to either Lt. Dan in Serps Hold or Lt Crag in Cove. Dan is good, Crag is evil. Choose your alignment. Rewards from the chest they have. Do not do the days out of sequence.

By the way, using All Names does not work, unless you have the lantern in hand,
the lantern is lit...and it turns green... The book does like to phase in and out...
Also, the book can not be copied into a blank red book.

I assume this is day four or is it day five?

Also, what makes a person look for a tavern with out walls... Oh yes, you
must use that boat to get to the tavern. Stay away from the Rum or you
be like Ricardo...

True enough the clue Ricardo gave had to be false... except for the location
of Vesper...

Why did you check the islands...was it just the last place to look...?

I thought maybe the basement tavern people got tired of Ricardo stealing
other patrons' drinks and beat him up and thrown him into the river...
where he floated to the island...with a bottle of rum still in hand.
After being knocked around too much, he came up with this story.

I think it should be 'field' not 'energy'

I lost karma from Dan too, it seems to be the wrong way around, though I've not tried reporting to Lt Crag.

No rune for day 8, the location is in Ilshenar. From Honor Shrine go south, the book is in the garden of the ruined keep occupied by ratmen.
The book is about 2 tiles from the building wall and 3 from the long logs leaning on the wall.

Rune 9 added - I named it 'BewareDarkWisps'

Luka, up till now the only things around the runes were fairly easy to cope with, but this one's on an island with serps and dark wisps. There is a healer though.
