If you are placing a new house spot the game will begin to decay your present home soon as ya place the new one like the others have said. While we should have 7 days, it is better to go with 5 or LESS. EA may surprise us with a mega patch, that may or may not patch for ya or any of us, and the timer keeps on working in game, even when we can not get back into game, due to computer issues or patch issues. IE Gitter done FASTER !
IF you are buyin an in game house or house plot off someone from this shard BE SURE YA KNOW WHOM YOU ARE BUYING FROM !! IF you are selling a home plot to someone on this shard, do make sure YOUR stuff is out of there, way before ya tranfer any home or plot over, to THEM !
As the um 'Queen of moving contents of entire homes' on this shard over night or even faster and moving around on Siege, way too much,
I will add...
Move whatever is BLESSED first that which even if someone pks ya on Siege in theory they can not steal dryloot ya *blessed items* like vet rewards etc. Move those over first cuz the most observant will already know when someone anyone is moving. Then move the rest of the stuff over at some quieter time of day or nite. Whatever ya can put on commodity deeds, get them all set up and ready before ya move.. less lugging heavy stuff around.
RL moving van companies also move us by ROOM or floor levels, makes it a lot easier even in a game if we pack our stuff up from our prior home by floor levels too, cuz we knew our former floor level plan...be way easier unpacking it all in the new house by........floor levels or room types. Organise it all up BEFORE ya move and the move will go swiftly and normally without issue.
