To save the comments on wrong lamp, Napa Never had the Chest in place to receive the New Ricardo's lamp til today. Now it does, 4 days into the new Arc Quest!

Napa never had the chest in Britt to get the new lamp til today, sooooo ya make do with what ya have to do the quest with.
And as far as refilling w/Oil, ya shouldn't need it for a quest item to work!

LOL. Can't you find better stuff to complain about? Honestly, Some would argue this adds to the realism of the game. Lamps run out of oil. Stuff happens.

I was discussing this with my fellow ATL reporter tonight, we are doing a simultaneous play through of Ultima VII:The Black Gate, earlier today I was working with Willy the Master Baker, pouring flour onto a table, adding water to it [after fetching it from the well across the street] and eventually walking it to the oven, I then thought about UO cooking and how I simply had to click a few items. I enjoy the round-about way of doing things, sheering a sheep to get wool, using the wool on a spinning wheel, using that on a loom and eventually producing my own cloth. I wish the game recognized this time consumption. You could go 11 years and never use lamp oil. At least now people know it's not just to put next to your beds with deadwood sitting next to it, some of us actually fill lanterns!

Yes I can, but I don't !

Had lent that lantern to many people on Napa that could not get the new Lamp to do the new Arc because there was NO chest to get one for 4 days.. And again being a quest / event item the item should not go empty ... ffs 2
