I just want to say that other than the problems with fiction, improper information on who has what rewards and not patching so we have the names on the items, the quest is good!

The think what I like the most is the fact that elves get elf items, gargoyles get gargoyle items and humans get human items. That must have taken a bit extra in the programming.

The quest is good, and fun to do, but i must disagree on one point, i got a gargoyle item on a elf char. (I wont complain though becuase my gargoyle loves it!!!!!!!)

This is the first quest ive been able to take part in in a long time due to personal events. But like to First poster said---Thank You Dev's.

Its almost exactly the same as the Abyss house quest. (Functionally, it IS exactly the same...)

Its a lazy event.

It's not even as difficult as the housing quest - not by a 10th, and the housing quest was relatively easy for anyone that could PvM - this quest, I'm running through characters that have absolutely zero offensive skills, and their only defense is to run... mark a rune, put it in a book, and cycle the character list.

I won't complain, though - the relic frags are a welcome addition to my inventory, I'm not overly certain as to the benefits of the 2 new items just yet in my characters suits, and, thanks to the massive amount of litterbugs, my stockpile of MR's and EE's are steadily increasing as well.

It will be interesting to see how the lore plays out, though.

I don't mind that at all, in my mind then the legendary blacksmith, GM Alcemist, botanist or miner is just as much worth as some l33td00d überartied FOTM template character, and as such should have just as much chance to do events.

I actually enjoyed taking out my weaker characters in both events.

Or we could have chosen to ignore that tidbit, and been legitimately grateful that they are doing something other than letting the servers go until the drives fail.

What's done is done - I'll take Mark's manning up in the other thread, and enjoy things for what they are.
