hi all, i wish to sell some practice weapons (were given to newbies way back). they look like regular weapons but the have [practice Weapon] behind their usual name.

i don't know if they're useless. no idea whether you can imbue those weapons or not.

Unless it has changed they decay quickly if locked down. It used to be if you wanted to display them as deco they had to be inside a chest.

You're right JC, practice weapons used to be 'newbie' and not stealable, and like the newbie clothing would not lock down and would decay in 30 secs. They can be stolen now, but were popular collector items nonetheless. I'm not sure if they still decay fast or if they can now be locked down since they're not newbied anymore.

i have "a spear [practice weapon]" locked on my floor ... been there a long time.

yes its deco . a very old rare . not much else . its not blessed like a newbie item . they once were but lost that a long time ago . originally they actually did less damage than a non exceptional "store bought" spear . they were nice for sparring with a friend , got skill gains with not as much damage .

they are at least 8 years old . if not more . so yeah rareness level is up there .

id say its worth 25 - 50 k

unfortunately they aren't newbiefied anymore, i tested that before selling.

they were nice for getting gains off animals without killing them (low damage output) thus the animal would stay alive and also gain in skill increasing the range of skill gains you could get off them.

first bow was sold for 30k
