Stables at my house

A post in the UHALL makes me really curious and worried about this. My main characters are tamers, and I have multiple of them. So for decoration in 2 of my 3 houses I have a stable design. The stables are used purely for decoration, having the phillips steed, hay, water trough, each connected to deco blacksmithing shops for horseshoes and the such.

From what I am reading, the stables I have created make my houses illegal in design, even though I have never used them to hold actual animals.

Is this correct? Has illegally training skills with animals become such an issue that I cant even have a deco stable without the chance of a ban or having my house redesigned for me?

I know people will say that I can make the stable without the little door, but it doesnt look anywhere near as good or authentic. My houses are all public so people can come in and see my designs, just like I like to visit other peoples homes.

There has to be a way to punish people for illegal activities, instead of punishing people for their house designs who have never and/or will never use them in an illegal manner.

To add another layer to the problem: What's to stop another player from using your stable in ways it should not be used?

I'd love to have a little more clarification on this and the doors issue.

if stables are just for show set all stable doors to house owner that way no one can use them for illegal purposes

I think the issue is that just by having them you can get a ban for illegal house design. I doubt the GM's would take the time to check and see if the doors were set to owner only. If some a** was running around paging on any house with a stable with doors, the owner can be banned regardless whether there were animals in it or not now that it is considered an illegal house design. The It really sucks that the actions of a few can affect everyone else.

and the issue is not that you have a stable area, it's the doors themselves, if I'm reading it correctly, so in that regard any house with doors is illegal

I love my barn and I'll be damned if I'll tear it down, so there!:fight:

Its definetly the doors but remove the doors and it no longer looks like a stable and for those that do not use their houses to do any illegal activities with animals, it really sucks.

This question needs clarification, urgently. As a strict interpretation, any house with doors could be classed as 'illegal', including all the old classic styles.

Additionally,

Town stables have doors and stall gates. What prevents those from being misused???

Will Developers also need to be banned? Fired? Worse?

This is political correctness and ignorance Run Wild (pun intended), and BOTH need TAMED!
