items that do not decay?

I think soulstones and water barrels do not decay on their own, but does anyone know any more items that can be placed not locked down that will not decay?

I have a wooden table and 2 chairs that I found out in the middle of no-where while running around in Fel lumberjacking. They weren't locked down when I found them, so I set them up in my castle where they remain to this day...not locked down or secured in any way. It's been over 3 years now and they've never been lost.
I didn't know about the map/stuffies/cats. Makes me wonder how many lockdowns I have that don't need to be lockdowns.?.?.?

I have a throne that has been sitting unlocked for over 5 years now. Something tossed to the side from an IDOC and still there. Moved it a few times and still there.

that's kinda weird with the tables and chairs not decaying haha. I have a private home and in the middle room I want to have a "non-decaying" set up. at least it won't count twards my lockdowns

Sadly heavy stuff decays now. They changed it and told us later, was sad since I had a bunch of piles of unlocked down leather etc that I ended up losing. *shakes fist*

I have tons and tons of old furniture that is no decay. Lots of piddly things like containers and chessboards and weird things. I really went after the stuff for a while but haven't added to my collection in a long time.

BTW I believe some rubble doesn't decay, and mini monster statuettes. I suspect singing balls do not decay but I'm not testing that one out.

The furniture and items that will not decay are from pre Tram days when you could not lock items down . The only security you had was to lock your front door with a key leave in your pack or bank.

Really the only way is to toss stuff in a pile and wait to see if it decays. Theres actually quite alot out there, just run by castles and see all the crap peps have out there.


BTW Red Soulstones dont decay either

I found many items after AOS when EA dropped all the houses on non paying accounts there were many many houses falling to many to be at all of them .This included vendors with millions of gold on them stored in houses. I was not able to make many of the falling houses only acouple those were fun.

So from these falling homes folks would weed through adn tosson ground items such as furney lanterns etc.. When you scout back again the items would still be on the ground. So yes like Gumbie stated set them out and see if they decay in your private home of course.

Here is an interesting link with some good ole laughs.. Some folks talk of "Classic Shard" depends on how "Classic" they want . Pre 1999 many folks wouldnt like it there spoiled now. Things were very hard back then.

More items are:
royal leggings of ember
the tapestry of sosaria
dupre shield
ancient samurai helm
the holy sword
shamino crossbow
veteran statues
tragic remains of travesty
blackrock (small medium and large)

and ive tried tons of other items... without luck hehe

I had some sort of container that would not decay but any items placed in it would decay normally. Acted liked a trash barrel but without the 3 minute timer. Not sure I still have it. I also had a couple of fishing trophies that would not decay.

Yea I've got a wooden chest I picked up somewhere that doesn't decay, left it sitting in my house for a week (was going to toss it out to decay) and finally got tired of looking at it so I picked it back up.

yep apetul is correct all those things do not decay as i have many statues/items in my castle courtyard and they been there a very long time. i have a few non decay chests and they the chests them selfs dont decay if you put items in them that normaly decay, the items will decay but you can use the chests to hold your non decay items...vet statues,stuffys phillips horses and other items

Did you find them on Horseshoe Island (Fel) in front of an L shape? If so they are mine but you are more than welcome to keep them They stayed there for ages and never decayed.
