I noticed when I chopped wood in tel mur (as gar) it did not match the wood from the tree stump so they dont stack. one has the name at the top like "22 ash logs" and the other just has "22 logs".

I am not sure what you are saying but the ash logs don't stack with ash logs from the tree stump ? I never notced but I make boards out of all the logs and they all stack. Then 22 logs is plain wood.

logs are normal wood items and will not stack with anything except other "logs". Ash, Oak, Yew, Heartwood, Bloodwood, Frostwood will each stack with their own types.

Without mentioning the color of the piles or pics............... your just +1 or pulling plps chains. From the start of rare woods it has been just like mining. You get iron on top of whatever rare ore your hitting. And even if the woods you pulled are the same color, do the boards they become stack (who has stacks of logs but scripters?) Last you have same color with different titles because you got lucky and pulled wood when the code mages was playing with something.

"tree stump"?

That's very odd. I don't have very many "tree stumps" in my client, and certainly none that I can get wood from. I think it's also high time that client ran checksums on client files...

I think he is referring to the vet-reward tree stump that gives a few logs each day.

It sounds like he is trying to stack wood chopped in Ter-Mur with wood from the vet-reward tree stump.

And if he had a house in Ter-Mur, he certainly could have a tree stump there.

wth

tree stump is vet reward and I am lumberjacking in tel mur with a gargoyle (the double gargoyle axes). not sure if this is something new for everyone or if it has something to do with one of the new ways I am doing it.
I save my wood as logs, why do i have to save them as boards?

For some reason logs outta the stump are taged differently. I thought they had fixed or were working on it. I have had same problem with stump in fel castle. All i can say is try take down and put stumb back up. My jackers are elfs so it not race thing.

I mention types as the OP mentions "22 Ash Logs" versus "22 Logs". That Sir is a distinct difference in wood types and thus these do NOT stack with each other. And as you should know, there is a color variation between "logs" cut into boards and "ash logs" cut into boards.

I think just converting them to boards will resolve the situation.

Ah, my apologies. I didn't know about the tree stump. Still wish they'd do checksums on client files, but obviously not to catch you... :)

I have the same problem, I just keep two piles. One from the stump, and one from trees. I like to keep mine as logs also. Better deco. Oh, and I have the problem with all types of wood.

Just keep them separate and keep the one that is a bug as a rare. Once it is fixed the rarity starts.

Boards are lighter then logs so can carry more and spend less time running home to add to the deco. Little UOAssist does the board trick till they make the log munching wood beetle. And if they do fix it then the stump ones would be a deco rare a few years after. Still have my pile of lich root loot till it is sold by NPCs.
