Ho well, after about 12 or more..years, its time to quit.
I dont wanna say or talk about why i'm quitting, the reasons are many!

I just wanna say thanks to all peoples i meet in this fantastic game
(that i loved for years).

I have 2 account, 1 its about 13 years old, another one is
about 10 or more. I have to check...
i have to install the game because i moved to a new computer,
or i have to check online.

I have many chars all on Atlantic shard.
DragonSigh, Blackwalker, Blackfish, Panettone, Pandoro, Merlino,
and many others that i dont remember the name...lol

Currently i'm not playing (but paying for it)
for about 5 (or more) months.


I collected a lot of things all over these years and
have 2 big house (not in luna )

If i have to make a list of all i have i need 2 weeks!

Dunno if i'll drop all in the trash or ,if someone is interested,
sell all i have, accounts too.


ho well, i'd like to say many things, but its better to close

Yeah, I was going to suggest this too. Put the items you might want to keep in your bank box and then close your accounts. You can always return for visits when they do the Return to Britannia promotion and if you ever get the urge to come back, you'll be able to jump right in as you were before.

Yeah, I was going to suggest this too. Put the items you might want to keep in your bank box and then close your accounts. You can always return for visits when they do the Return to Britannia promotion and if you ever get the urge to come back, you'll be able to jump right in as you were before.

I was going to type this exactly before scrolling down and seeing 2 posts with the same advice. If you are able to at all, put your valuables away in the bank and give the rest away to your friends. I left UO for quite some time, and returned just to check things out. I actually didn't expect to find my stuff still available in the bank (they used to say accounts would be deleted in 3 months or something), but having gear & trained characters was a big factor in staying. I was sure glad I had it (wish I would have planned ahead).

Yeap, UO accounts are so worthless in real money nowdays that it's not worth it. Just bank the best stuff and give rest away, then if you want to come back some day in the future you have your characters left. This game will prolly run many years still (atleast I hope so), you never know if you wanna come back in couple years.

Splup has it right ... get as much stuff into bankboxes and on your characters as you can that might be good usage on a return. Take it from one who did NOT do that and simply scrapped everything ... my return was very painful!

As the others said best to hold accounts. Load the bankbox / backpack / beetle. And what doesn't fit, have some fun and yell out on the chat your going to pelt ratmen from the sky with your stuff. After about an hour heads up see if you can fill the Luna bank trash chest.

You are right. No gold is stated in her post. Shame on UOStratics. My post was deleted and a mark was put on my account for this.

Ha, that's pretty quick. I get the itch every couple of years and do a month of siteseeing. Honestly, the game's changed so much it's not that much fun to play when I return. I can get over 100 music now? MADNESS. I usually provoke over at the graveyards near Britain for a while, hit the sewers, and get waxed in the the lost lands before giving up again.

It really is hard to start back up after so long away -- I haven't played back to back months in probably 6-8 years, iirc. Still, I'm glad I've got my old gear when I make it back. And that death music and b&w fade out still gives me chills. I've apparently learned to react to that at the subconscious level now.
