Lesser Slayer Q and Sampire Imbued Gear

I've started playing my account again and had a couple of questions about Sampire gear.

I was thinking of imbuing lesser slayer weapons for farming. Since a lesser slayer is 3x, does that mean I can skip DI on the weapon (make nonexceptional) and also on the jewelry?

I was thinking this for weapons
DI or Lesser Slayer
SSI
HSL
HML
HLA (or is there a better 5th?)

Jewelry
DI (or something else if farming with slayer?)
HCI
DCI
Str Inc
Dex Inc

Armor
Sta Inc
HPI
Mana Inc
Whichever resist piece needs
LMC (this worth it? could just skip a 5th property or something low intensity)

I play on siege, so the armor and jewelry need to be cheap enough I'm not crushed if I get killed. I also don't have access to artifacts, so this is it. I'm also not quite sure what is worth farming.

No, the item property DI is separate from the typical Slayer/Perfection/Momentum Strike/EoO/Whatever-else cap
(worth mentioning Divine fury give's +10% item property DI)

You want 100% DI *and* the slayer. You can forgo EoO and perfection though.

... and yes, I've tested this fact out extensively, been doing it a lot lately since those darned Ratmen Renowneds have so many HP.

Haven't been to the Cavern of the Discarded yet, but I saw in a post yesterday that the Ratmen Renowneds have 50,000 hit points. If that's the case, it's no wonder people are/were complaining about not getting much loot off them

50,000... hm, means i'd have to hit ~250 times ~6-7ish minutes...
Yea that'd be close to accurate.

Under 5 with an ornate axe and a vermin slayer talisman... rolleyes:
I know, i was putting up a very rough estimate... not like i sit with a stop watch :p

Two Boura make it quicker, hit the fighter and archer bosses for ~40 per hit and the mage ~20

Wait, what is the damage increase by a lesser slayer? I thought it was changed to 3x, is that not capping at 300%?

Regular slayers reach the 300% cap, Super slayers do not.

The item property DI is calculated entirely differently.

Right, I'll just draw this out:

Ornate Axe
18-20 Weapon Damage
150 Str: (18-20) x (1.50) = (18-20) + (9-10)
120 Tactics: (18-20) x (1.8125) = (18-20) + (15-16)
120 Anatomy: (18-20) x (1.65) = (18-20) + (12-13)
100% DI: (18-20) x (2) = (18-20) + (18-20)

Total = (71-79)

Now apply the 300% damage cap
(71-79) x 3 = 213-237

Then Calculate Opponent's Resist:
If fighting something with 60 Resist
213-237 x 0.4 = (85-94)

... and to anyone who thinks that's too complicated, It's Algebra 1/2 at best, early middle school stuff.

The level of math indicates difficulty not complexity :p
You can have very complex calculations with out ever going above algebra.

But the math seems wrong.....I am sure I hit harder than that, not "your" math but the math in general. But then I hardly think about their resist while I am fighting.

Keep in mind that imbued slayers use white pearl and I don't know how much that costs on SP. You might be able to work out a deal with a supplier though.

Nope... equates precisely to what it says my base damage is in the status bar.

You can only really judge it on critical hits.

True, but this is neither difficult nor complex.
People tend to get visually intimidated by formulas... then they realize it's simple multiplication and addition.
