Garg lrc armor?

Is there such a thing as a garg lrc 70s suit? You need earing instead of a helm. (which stinks)They have the necklace instead of a gorget. (also stinks)
Arms, chest and legs are the same, but they can't wear gloves.
Is this why you see so few gargoyles around?

Why wouldn't there be? The 5 items you listed can all be LRC 20... that's 100. You also still have the standard ring/bracelet/primary/talisman slots.

Just seems they have a disadvantage that other chars don't have. I'm wondering why I see VERY few gargoyle chars.

Gargoyles also got kilt, - so its 6 part armor just as humans. Then they can use both human and garg rings/bracelets.

And - gargoyles have gotten a lot of love in the new artifacts. If you take time to look into all the gargoyle arties thats out - I really dont see what you are complaining about.

And, yes - its pretty simple to make a all 70 resist 100% lrc suit for gargoyles. I make sets with imbuing for both humans and gargoyles and sell on my vendor shop - and they are pretty popular.

My Gargoyle has a fairly decent suit that only has one item imbued in it (the earrings)

Casting 3/5
DCI 25
LRC 110
SDI 25/50 (w/ scrappers)
MR 9
HPR 7
69/70/69/75/97

Certainly not an amazing suit, but good enough for him to perform well. Barb Kits are your friends.

If your on Chessie I can make a set of armor for your gargoyle. I'm not into power hunting but my bunch can make and imbue a high resist set for you.

Making a all 70s 100LRC suit for a garg is easy with an imbuer. No expensive materials either. People dont play them because they have no real advantages and human/elf artifacts and armor are still much more common and easy to get.

Well they are 12 years late to the game and there is no quest to turn into them, and they had fewer wearable item slots, FAR fewer artifact choices, virtually left out of factions equiptment wise. So, there were VERY limited uses for them.

You can Imbue them up great equiptment, now they need to work on the arties and factions. :)

I think gargoyles could have a nice equipment like humans/elf if you use some new gargs artifacts. Gagoyles still good mages if:
- you use mysticism and raise colossus
- you use the mystic's guard shield (the 30% soul charge looks nice and the str requirement 20 instead of the 95 of the chaos shield is a really good thing)

for the rest, human/elf can have 10-20% extra sdi in the equipment and some skill bonus.
If the spellwoven britches and midnight bracers could be alterable all races will be the same.

6 piece gargoyle suit consists of earrings, necklace, arms, chest, legs, kilt. All those items can be imbued. The only thing you can't get is 140 luck on the earrings and necklace. (I have a question languishing in the questions board about that)

Why don't you see a lot of gargs? Because you have to pay for the expansion. Some probably didn't buy it, therefore less gargs. Not to mention some people already have their established 6-7 char slots filled, skilled, and geared.

About LRC... garg crafted armor have higher resists too. So it's much easier to get all 70's and LRC in a sense.

Both my gargs wear straight 70's suits that also have 100+ lrc, max lmc, 10+ MR, a bunch of MI, 2/6 casting, and 50+ SDI. Making a good mage suit for an gargoyle is easier than a human because their armor pieces start with better resists. Both of these suits use no arties, looted or crafted, other than the pendant.

I've imbued several all 70's 100% LRC garg suits. I don't put any resists on the ring and bracelet so I can use those imbuing slots for other stuff. Its not hard. Gargs have their place. I like the flight - its a great natural advantage if you are a mystic who likes using rising colossus. You can actually get away from those speedy critters in Ter Mur.

Necro Gargs look cool in vamp. form. Oh and you get to look like the devil!

There are community collection glasses with 150 luck and with the latest publish, they can be altered for gargoyle use. Gargoyles can also wear the lucky necklace. In time I hope gargoyles get a much better selection though.

KILT???? Someone told me not to make a kilt because they had already given me leggings. I took that as you couldn't wear both. Well that helps alot. TY

Several people made good points here. When ML came out there people doing the Human to Elf quest like crazy. Of course, elves don't require you to rework your entire suit.
