Gargoyle cannot wear gargish leather kilt now?

I just logged on my crafter (a gargoyle) and noticed my crafted gargish leather kilt in my pack. I went to re-equip and it will not let me. Has there been a change to gargoyle armor i missed?

I had that problem after the last patch but I closed my client and acually downloaded the patch and it fixed it.
