I surprised this lovely lady in Fyde Manor on Seige Perilous this afternoon for a quick snap and an Anniversary wish!



Today marks the One Year Anniversary for our very own Petra Fyde who became our Managing Editor on April 5th, 2009.
​

During that year Petra has worked extremely hard to steer the Stratics Family in the right direction to renew and revitalize the Ultima Online Stratics Webpages and Forums. I am certain Petra that you had days where you wondered why you would take on such an overwhelming and mostly thankless responsibility.

All I can say to you is that your Stratics Family are all very glad that you did. Under your caring guidance and firm direction, Stratics is renewing itself. We send our heartfelt thanks to you.

May you spend many more years finding fulfillment as our Beloved ME.

Petra was always a wonderful influence in the Europa forums and I was so pleased to see that she had gone up in the world!

To someone returning, the amount of effort put into revising UO stratics is evidently immense and very noticeable from the earlier days where it wasn't getting much love. As a moderator on another site, I know only too well the enormous amount of effort it takes to keep these things going, never mind completely overhaul.

All the staff and contributors deserve gratitude, and very particular thanks to Petra on her anniversary.
