Hello
I have been working ABC Archer skills onto my crafter (on Siege) And while I think there is a %100 Damage Cap it is tempting me to try the following template:
Swords 110
Lumber 100
Anatomy 110
Tactics 100
Healing 100
Bushido 100
Parry 100
7GM -Old School!
(Human 255 stats/720 cap)
I could add some bling to get some skills a little higher.
Am I way out of line? I see that cooler heads suggest resist and/or chiv instead of LJ but a %30 damage bonus (plus the weapon and skill bonus) before any perfection is tempting. Lightening strike on a 65-75 pt opening hit sounds like a good deal.
Now that we can parry with two handed weapons the idea of a Bushido Axer appeals to me.
What am I missing? Do other templates get up to the damage cap so quickly that the 30% does not matter? Does investing the points in lumberjacking and giving up the 120 skill levels lose too much? It seems like the last 10-20 pts of a skill really only account for a couple of percent in effectiveness.
