I am so tired of some things.. but this was funny...

i have one blue not 4 not 8 one. i never play him either specially since i finished imbuing.

i have pks on 6 servers and i cant tell you how many times when dead you cant find a red healer.

first i think its funny that devs thought that putting red healers at gates in fel would help, do they realize some blues do nothing but go gate to gate and kill red healers all day? lol

back to the point, i made a dummy blue char for my vendors on a shard today, took someone rune after about 10 tries recalled to a vendor house and died to brigands. no big deal right.

so i go a screen left low and behold a low and behold a red healer. so i res im on my laptop so i dont like to run to many things at once so i just use my memory of britainnia to go from way southern most point of trinny swaps almost to the entrance to delucia to trinny gate and what do i see not 1 blue healer but 9 red healers on my way to the gate. are you kidding me?

in felucca you cant find a red healer but they are like a horrible zerg guild in non pk trammie lands. thats just unacceptable. why is there red healers coded in to spawn in trammel lands at all ever period? WE CANT GO THERE? LOL

if this has been brought up before im sorry, i log in to kill and thats it all my castles in fel, i have nothing that i "own" in a trammie world i dont get to see that stuff.

just thought it could use some addressing, and it has to be a easy fix.

also, its funny to me, all the complexity of uo servers and something like the code for a npc spawn is way way off like that. :gee:

I think you would get more sympathy and support, if you weren't a "Trammie" basher. It's not funny, and it doesn't make you look or sound cool when you say "Trammie" at all. All it does is make me think you're 16 yrs old. And I'm not knocking 16 yr old people, I'm knocking 16 yr old UO players...you're all the same....run around red and dead forever, I couldn't care less....why did I post here? ....

well i personaly have seen red player in tram and i did not see him for a long time and god knows why he moved there but maby its not the last time :):stretcher:

Actually I love any Trammie bashing 6 does lol.. but all he did there was say Trammie really.. in either case why'd you bother to post in the thread anyway?

You wouldnt have lasted a day when PKing was actually somewhat difficult and it ment something if you were a pk. Red healers didnt exist period and thats the way it should be. This game turned into a game for 13 year olds a long time ago and made everything too freakin easy. Tramell... Red healers... No stat loss for reds... *sigh*

Gimmie back classic uo.

Fix...? Are you under the assumption that Trammal spawn effects Fel spawn? Because if so, you're probably have no idea what you're talking about.

Why is everyone hating on SixUnder? lol... he raises a valid point. Anyone who PvPs since champ zergs became the main knows you have to field reds to PvP. Hopefully Factions or some other system will change that, but it's just simple logistics. If you want to protect your hard work doing a spawn, you have to kill the other people who try to leech off of you. And if they're blue, you end up making reds, or you balance counts like a mofo, lol.

It be nice if anyone outside your party turned gray if they attacked a Champ Boss, then spawns wouldn't require reds. But flags are short, there would be problems I'm sure, haha.

Anyway, since everyone has to make a red if they want to control anything in Fel, all healers should be red healers. If red healers didn't exist, this conversation wouldn't happen, but it isn't 1999 or whatever year you oldies remember as the "good times," and EA Mythic made the red healers, and here we are today. PvP is different, but death never changed. Everyone dies, everyone needs to find a rez at some point.

As for the red healers in tram, my best guess is for the RP value. They're cooler, after all, than regular healers ;P.

the red healers drop map fragments which are required for an npc quest. as far as i know thats the only reason they exist in trammel. no need for a fix.

They should just make it so any healer with rez reds. I mean a red healer with rez a blue so it shouldnt be that big of a deal.

If you drop a little gold on the red healers it improves their outlook on rezzing you. They will actually be happier and you will find them more often. This really works and even 10 gp makes a difference.

Maybe some Trammies like to kill red healers? Anything wrong with that? The healer killing thing is nothing new. That was happening long before there were red healers.

I used to train skills on them. They are good for raising resisting spells.

To the OP:

They could make all healers in fel red because they rez both reds and blues. Remember when there weren't any wandering healers for the most part. In the old days we had to go to a town or we had friends.

You could move the fighting spot from yew to vesper and then there is a gate over to bucs den. I'm sure if all the reds went somewhere else the blues would follow. I like Vesper better than Yew.

Actually red healers in Trammel are GREAT for my RP..... since my "sworn" enemies are the Priests of the Temple of Mondain [ToM].... I think it's fun to "kill" all the priests of Mondain that I see... and I enjoy it.

Just because u don't experience all parts of UO doesn't mean u can **** on others... he actually makes a very valid point and people have been complaining about this issue for a very long time.

actually im 32 my account is 154 months now. i was blue but so long ago i couldnt tell ya. i say trammie cause what the hell else are ya?

if you are not a red pk or a spawner in fell...

what the appropriate term? trammie was given since OSI introduced trammel, and they let everyone have test and go and practice placing houses and blah blah... its just a term.

no shiat really? i am i believe 154 months old now, sept 29 1997 i believe for me (i cant remember if it might have been the 30th) and between all my reds prolly 25k long terms and people dont even count anymore. SixUnder my main char has just about 13.5k long terms now, i am the definition of red my friend.

why do you think it agitates a murderer when we do get a bone thrown to us every once in a blue moon and it ends up on the wrong damn facet?

Maybe I could help you with this one.
When us trammies go to fel reds at times kill us when they see us. We stay in trammel where it is save, and never get killed.
Us trammies heard that the red healers are at the gates, we kill them, and now like us trammies your red healers now hide away in trammel just like we do so they won't get killed. :mf_prop:

sorry had to quote part of this post, but i think in terms of npc and monster spawns that felluca and trammel is identical more or less with a few exceptions champs for one and such as facet specific quest npcs like for the cloak of humility. but i think that generelly they are the same.

why this is? no clue, but im quite sure there is no intentional difference in red healers on either facet. think they call this a fluke. and dont forget the quote :)

If anything there are more trammies then fellies therefore if trammies is a bashing term then fellies will get is much worse.

Trammies and carebears are pretty much it for tram players for fel players there are a dozen easily.

Eg, cold blood pks, murders, the decepted, grifers, pvp whiners, low life pkers, no friend losers. When you have a group of 10 trammies to 1 or 2 fellies their bashing aren't even significant. And if you say tram players don't bash don't grief and don't trash talk, you are not playing ultima online.
