Orange Petals and level 5 poisen

I recently explored the Abyss dungeon, and having alot of fun exploring the area. I started killing the undead spawn which include the rotting corpses that can deal out level 5 poisen. Being even in vamp form you can be poisened by them. But what I have noticed is that if I eat an orange petal I seem to have a much higher chance of curing myself with the cleanse by fire spell. But if I don't eat an orange petal my chances diminish greatly. I dont have healing in my template, and being in vamp form I can't use the cure pots. Am I just getting lucky with the orange petals being able to let cleanse by fire spell to work better or is this a known fact? Just curious Thx in advance rolleyes:

I would say its just a coincidence.

If you have a Primer equipped that (when double clicked) can also remove Poison of any level instantly, as well as Strangle, Mortal & Bleed. Takes about 30 minutes to recharge but worth macroing for emergencies.

Thank you for the info, I was unaware about the primer and double click it etc. I assume something like the primer of arms removal etc? I use the conjuers trinket on my temp but could carry the primer in my back pack and switch them up.
I do not have spirit speak in my temp so imagine strangle would not be affective for removing poisen?

I have been doing mostly crafting the past few years so I needed a break from that and wanted to get more into exploring and wacking a few monsters. Lots to learn with new skills, monsters and areas and imbuing new armour and weapons.

Yes the Primer On Arms and also Bloodwood Spirit are both Damage Removal Talismans which can remove Poison/Bleed/Mortal/Strangle.

I don't know what you mean about Spirit Speak or Strangle removing Poison.

Thank you on the info, umm I misunderstood what you meant on the strangle you meant the talisamn would remove that if you were inflicted by it. I thought that the strangle spell was another method of removing being poisened. My mistake.
