Could anybody tell me if there is a site to let people know what guilds are recruiting ATM, and what sort of activities the guilds normally do, or if there are any like minded people that want to start a new guild. I'm in great need of some company on peerless and champ spawns.

There isn't really a site to show which are recruiting, but give it a day and I'm sure a bunch of different hunting guild reps will post on this thread and advertise their guild

I'd find this information really useful too. I just started playing again (well, tinkering with a crafter or two -- I've got a house guest, so prolonged/involved play isn't possible until Monday) after a three or four year break, with new characters. Every recruitment thing I see in New Haven is for a roleplay guild -- I'm perfectly polite around roleplay but I have no desire to engage in it, and would love to find a newbie-friendly guild that focuses on PvM instead. The sticky thread is rather dated. I'm not confident that guilds recruiting in 2007 will be now, or will have the same kind of focus, even if they are still extant.

At present, SAOR is not recruiting. However, if you'd care to give us a shout on global chat, we'd still be very happy to help you out with armour, runebooks, spellbooks, template advice and all the other things you might need to get you started. You're also welcome to join in any of the activities the guildies are involved in, such as hunts.

If you're looking for a medium-sized friendly guild, then CD (Chaos of Deception) might suit both of you. Many of our guildies are returning vets and we're more than happy to help you out with training, advice and equipment to get you up to speed again. We do regular peerless and champ hunts and dungeon crawls, but also spend time socialising and just messing around and having fun.

Just to pick up on this point Anne, the guild recruitment thread is not exactly the most up to date as Shaolin Monks [-SM-] are still listed in there and although the guild exists and I am still its leader I currently don't recruit and I don't suppose I ever will again unless someone convinces me that its worth doing.

Hey Mapper, I thought you were aware that -SM- basically only existed in name? Has been that way for quite some time I just keep it as a memory. One day maybe I will try again but tbh I've never been given a reason since I finally said it was the end.
