OK I just started a character on Seige and bought some gold from a guy here and found a nice white shroud of shadows but I can't wear it. What's the deal with this thing... it said something about being a paladin. Anyone help?

It has been hero dyed by a factioner.

Hang on to it until you can find a factioner that wants to buy it...

And also when vendor browsing, if you see an item that looks dyed white or black you might not wanna buy it until you have made sure you can equip it.
