Help figure out the "best" training suit and scribe suit

With the addition of imbuing, it is now fairly easy to get all the bells and whistles on a suit.

A mage training suit needs 100% lrc, 40%lmc, 2 fast cast, and 6 fast cast recovery with as much mana regen and mana increase as possible.

An inscribe suit only needs as much mana regen and mana increase as possible.

So with that, what are the imbued pieces and artifacts needed to make the "best" training suit? What about a scribe suit?

Let's go with the following major locations and put a restriction of 20M or less for each item:
head
neck
chest
legs
arms
gloves
ring
braclet
talisman (obviously tied up in a scribe suit)
robe
cloak
boots
hand (weapon or spellbook)
shield hand

So, what do you have?

20M as in 20 million?

What in the world have I missed being gone for a while? I don't have 20 million TOTAL.

If I were buying items, is there some other type of currency? *confused*

And yes, there are items that can and do cost in excess of 20 million... such as the royal guard sash with lrc and MR. 30M+:eyes:

Let me start this off this the "worst" imbued suit.

For a base training and inscribe suit, we can get:
  • 6 imbued armor pieces: 48 mana, 12 mr, 100%lrc, 40 lmc
  • ring/bracelet: 2/6 with 16 int, 2 mr from dark saphire bracelet (didn't check imbue on this)
  • talisman: my book for 5 int and 2 mana
  • robe: conjurer robe for 2 mr
  • cloak: Anything here add either mr, mana, or int?
  • boots: detective boots for 4 int
  • hand: clainin for 3 mr
  • shield hand: Anything here add either mr, mana, or int?

This base suit would be 100%lrc, 40%lmc, 19 mana regen, 25 int, and 50 mana.

How would you tweak this to get better stats that the above? Again, these are NOT PvP suits. One is a training suit and the other is a scribe suit.

For a scribe suit, might as well go bare-a** naked. As far as I can tell, neither Lower Reagent Cost nor Lower Mana Cost help at all. It would help some to have mana regen stuff, but if what you are inscribing is 20, 40, or 50 mana per scroll, you're going to have lots of pauses to regen mana no matter what.

Well its kind of obvious isnt it??

Head...Hat Of Magi
Neck...Pendant Of Magi
Chest...Rune Beetle Carapace
legs...15lrc mr2 8int
arms...15lrc mr2 8int
gloves...15lrc mr2 8int
Boomstick
Tongue of the beast{mr2 shield}
Bracelet...imbued mr2 with 10lrc bracelet{or faction orny}
ring...Crystaline ring
Totem of the void.

Robe is either, Conjurer's garb {MR2} or Shroud of the condemned {int+5}
Obi replica thing {focus bonus and int bonus...very rare and mostly useless}

That works out at 26mr +57 int/mana 100%lrc 40%lmc, and thats all you need!

No need for casting in honesty if your just training.

Yup... and neither lrc nor lmc was mentioned for the scribe suit.

But int/mana and mr on a scribe suit will help reduce the pauses.

This is mostly curiosity and number crunching for the most part.

Colter, thanks for the reply. Some of the pieces are a surprise.

inscribe till low mana....nuke nuke....inscribe till low mana....nuke nuke....etc

Who is Colter??

In addition...if your really going for max, it would have to be faction orny and crystaline {gains 1mr and 2/6 casting}

Oh and the crow of tal'kesh works just as well being exactly the same mods and all.

In answer to people "commenting" on the scribe suit...What does it matter??

The suit i said gives 100%lrc 40%lmc AND max MR and INT bonus...thats all you can hope for in a scribe suit. What i proposed was one suit to fit both categories.

For a scribe you want mana regen and maybe focus and meditation unless you are training those skills and lots of mana increase so you can get more scrolls per cycle.
