(Just kidding. The trolls were added to the hedge maze in both Tram and Fel about the time the KR Client was introduced a few years ago. Several changes were made in the hedge maze at that time, apparently in an attempt to beautify it. Most of the changes were poorly done, however. The basement entrances and areas for the buildings in the middle were messed up, along with the steps in the tower, and some of the buildings received roofs they'd never had before and a few new holes in the floors. In addition, the hedges that were planted around some of those buildings were originally impassable at the corners. About the only thing that was added and not messed up was the bridges and their trollish toll-takers.)

Yeah, I never understood why they did some of the things they did to such a great place. I don't think you can even enter the tower anymore.

You can use a sparkly gate from the building south of the tower to get into the bottom level of the tower. But the steps inside the tower don't work. If a demon spawns in the tower other than on the bottom level or the roof, you have to call a GM and ask them to boot it out onto the grass. You can still exit the bottom level of the tower via a teleporter pad that plops you in the grass at the base of the tower.
