and its in a place where people gather making it a little easier plus most everyone has a rune to WBB so with global chat it just makes a good easy meeting spot! on LS there is one also outside the south gate in luna along with stables and such! and it gives plus 1 also!

Now that you can open up multiple logins on the classic client, it's much easier to get enough characters for Focuses. What's more, obtaining focuses has become a community builder. I've met and befriended players through UO chat that I wouldn't have otherwise without the focus.

Are you serious? I'm def. not saying to change it (bc I like gettin focus' so easy ) But you are "STATING" SW isnt useful in PVP? Are you a dexxer/archer who only fights at the gate? 120 SW with a lvl 6 is AMAZINGGGG beyond your wildest comprehension in any sort of spawn fight, whether it be choke or not. Good spellweavers can make extreme use of it in the field also.

Maybe you need to make a mage and try out weaving sir. Get dismounted via bola, and have 4 pixies thrown on you and let the mage get mounted, then when you finally kill the pixies, 4 more are right there beating on you while the mage is mounted and attacked you And incase something goes TERRIBLY wrong, good luck killing that weaver with 90 pts attunements and 16 pt heals ever 2 seconds for 140 seconds.

Yes, that skill sounds SOOOO not worth 120 pts.

1&2&3 I agree with although 1 is kinda iffy for PVP

Fiend are weaker than Fey, they don't cast enough and pixies have obscenely low Hp and easy to dispell

Essence of wind... Eh, there are plenty of AoE spells

Add thunderstorm to the list.

The benefit of thunderstorm and essence of wind is not the AOE damage. Thunderstorm craps up fcr and essence of wind slows swing speed.

Obvisiously, Attunement (1) and Gift Of Renewal (2).

(3) Thunderstorm (With lvl 6 it hits 7 tiles away, Drops FCR -6, and hits and reveals stealthers, and with 2/6 is as fast as harm. No stealthers ever get away from me)

(4) Nature's Fury (You can cast these on top of para fields in a field fight instead of EVs if there are no open slots; Stronger with a Focus)

(5) Summon Fey/ (6)Summon Imp (Obvisiously good. Cast max number with a focus. Did you forget to add this? Imps actually get pack instinct as well.)

(7) Wildfire (This will disallow a mage to EVER cast unless they are in protection. I believe its an 8*8 tile for 7 seconds with a lvl 6. Which covers EVERY choke point I have ever been in.)

(8) Essence of Wind (Hits OFF the screen (farther than EQ) target and drops your fast cast -6 with a lvl 6)

(9) Dryad Allure (Any place there is repond, extremely useful. Ogre Lords walk through parafields, and hit for 25-40, Sure that sucks)

(10) Gift of Life (Sure, this is useless right? Last 20 minutes and instant res your warhorse/any pet you are riding with 50% health as soon as it dies.)

(11) Arcance Empowerment (Sure, this spell sucks. For 40 Seconds, you have 10sdi increase, your greater heals heal for 70-89 damage, mini heals do 25-45. Also your summons have 10% more HP and are harder to dispel)

(12) Word Of Death (Sure, this sucks to right? When theres a dragon, you EB it 3 times with a dragon slayer and then WOD it. Or have guildys EB it til your WOD is up and drop it. Ya thats lame)



So yes, clearly. There are ONLY 2 good spells.

It is pretty amazing lol. I was debating taking it down bc I dont want everyone running my super top secret mage SW template

The simple fact that you can get around it this easily has merits on both sides. Keep it as is, it's too easy to get a Lev 6, or, Get rid of the need, it's too easy to get a Lev 6.

Yes, do away with everything that requires interaction with other players. Other players are a constant nuisance to this game. It is a shame that there are certain tasks that force me to communicate. I want to be able to solo the Stygian Dragon, too. So how about increasing the Stat Cap by 100 points and the skill cap to 1000!? And while you're at it, increase the drop rate of imbuing ingredients, and give faction artifacts to EVERY player. Also, make it that monsters ignore me unless I ATTACK THEM first.
I hate UO being a MMORPG. I want to be able to play it ALONE! Or just make shard instances, so that every player can have his own shard.

Atlantic is thought to be the most populated shard, and there are definitely enough people on Chesapeake at 2 am so I wonder how many are on Atlantic at the same time, although I can see how it might be hard to get a bunch of strangers to help you at 2am.

I'd try to get into a different guild maybe, or ask around on Atlantic forums and see if any SWers play around same time you do, or maybe try and form a little Lady M night crew.

Does Atlantic not have a special Britain circle? I only need five people for a LVL 6 on Ches.

Not decaying the focus is a better suggestion for those who play at odd hours. Why don't you make a new post suggesting this?

I am able to find a level 5 or 6 on Atlantic at 2am. Folks from 11 countries and many assorted time zones are in my guild. Again, try using global chat, guild chat, or even rounding up folks at a bank. It's quite possible on such a populated shard.
