Readin uoguide.com it dont give that much of a description.

Velocity is a property found on certain bows that was introduced with the Mondain's Legacy expansion. It can be described as a reverse of the Harm spell. For every tile away your opponent is, +1 damage is added if a shot hits with Velocity. So if you opponent is 2 tiles away they can be hit with 2 extra damage from a Velocity strike.

This property can only be found on Imbued bows or bows crafted with an Oak, Ash, Yew, or Heartwood Runic Fletcher's Tools. It can range from 2% to 50% in intensity.
Well if it only adds 1 dmg per tile, thats it, nothing more, why not have it at 2% intensity? This dont make a whole lot of sense to me, if its always 1-2 dmg ect per tile, the intensity dont matter.

Does it not always work? So its the intensity that makes it work?

Or

Does the intensity allow for more dmg?

Does the slayer property effect the dmg of velocity?
How about dmg inc?

Its a little something like this. Comp bows have a range of 10. So if you're standing 10 tiles away from someone and hit them with velocity you will do 10 additional damage on top of the normal damage. Not sure exactly what normal damage is but I'm going to guess its between 10-15. So if velocity hits you will do approximately 20-25 damage.

Intensity on the bow is how frequent the velocity will hit. 2% intensity will hit 1 in 50 times. Now if you have 50% velocity you'll hit 1 in 2 times.

No other modifiers effect velocity damage. It's just like any other spell...it has a base damage and nothing effects it...other than being further away from your target.

The damage is also direct damage...so not affected by resists.
