Announces 12th Anniversary Events​

Thursday, February 11, 2010 –
Golden Brew’s Great Date Celebrity Auction at 7 PM PST (10 PM EST) at the Skara Brae Trammel Faire Grounds. Based on an event that occurred on Friday, March 16, 2001 at the Golden Globe Theater in the City of Golden (http://www.freebornpress.com/archives/2001/03/reminder_golden.php). Come and bid on a famous (or is that infamous) player of Baja who has volunteered to be auctioned and to provide a service such as PvP or Peerless Keying Lessons to Decorating Services. NOTE: No player can be forced to do something that they do not want to. All proceeds of the auction will go to the Britannia Royal Zoo on Verity Isle (Moonglow), Trammel.

Friday, February 12, 2010 –
The Dawn Museum of Dreams Scavenger Hunt will start at 7 PM PST (10 PM EST). Clues will be provided and you will have to find the items which will be located in Dawn Buildings through out the Kingdom. This event will take place in Felucca. Gates will be provided starting 10 minutes before the event from Luna Bank in Malas and Moonglow Bank in Felucca.

Saturday, February 13, 2010 –
Grand Tour of Avalon & The Kingdom of Dawn. The tour will start at 5 PM PST (8 PM EST). Both cities are located in Felucca so please take the appropriate actions to safeguard items and pets you do not want to lose. Gates will be provided starting 10 minutes before the event from Luna Bank in Malas and Moonglow Bank in Felucca.

Sunday, February 14, 2010 –
At 7 PM PST (10 PM EST) Dawn’s Valentines Day Ball will start. It will be held at Dawn’s Malas Outpost and Book Library which is located west of Umbra. The entries for the Dawn 12th Anniversary Player-Written Book Contest are due at 9 PM PST (Midnight EST).

Come join the Kingdom of Dawn as we celebrate our 12th Anniversary.

Hail Ladies & Gents,

Airhaun (me) will be offering 3 Spawns with SI. I just need to outline some details.

1) Bidders must be willing to be temporarily guilded into SI just prior to the spawn and will be immediately unguilded at the spawn’s conclusion (this is necessary & mandatory for many valid reasons I won't get into at this time).

2) I will be solely responsible for the actions and safety of the winning bidder therefore I must be present at all spawns.

3) The winning bidder and I will communicate via ICQ to insure every opportunity to attend said spawns exists.

4) The winning bidder will not be given voice or map access but will communicate with me via party and the rest of our group/alliance via Alliance Chat.

5) The winning bidder will not be allowed to attack champ.

6) The winning bidder will take my place for full privileges to roll for the scrolls at the conclusion of each spawn.

Any abuse of this will result in immediate termination of the 3 spawn agreement. Abuse can be defined as uncooperative behavior, exploiting by an enemy guild, etc.

I think this will be a really fun activity. As long as the winning bidder feels the same and conducts themselves with that philosophy, we’ll have a blast !!!

Poor Mesanna was being hit upon by the Yattering and EM Seppo was having to put up with being bit on the ankle by that creature. Definitely fun times.

I want to thank Girl Scout Marqi who, unbeknownst to me, was bidding on the date night with Ceno for me. All of you are just too nice to me and I don't know that I deserve it but know it's appreciated immensely. *curtsy*

The Dawn 12th Anniversary Celebrity Auction sales totaled a jaw-dropping 111.3 million gold! Thank you to everyone who agreed to be sold, and to everyone who bid! At 36-million, EM Seppo was the highest celebrity sale of the evening, followed by Sara [SI] who brought 14-million, and Girl Scout Edith 10-million.

To have all the animals, including the Silver Steed, on display at Tier 11 the donation points have to be at 11,000,000 or more. (One point = 15 gold -- that's a gold value of 165,000,000 minimum necessary to achieve tier 11,) The current decay rate at the zoo is 1% every 48 hours ... if the zoo points are at 11,000,000, every 48 hours 110,000 points (or 1,650,000 gold value) are lost.

For a smaller shard like Baja to have the Moonglow Royal Zoo at Tier 11 is quite an accomplishment. Thank you to M!S for starting the Sunday Night Taming Hour, then more than a year later, BRPA taking over the activity. And thank you, WildStar, Grand Duchess of Dawn, for including this fun event as part of the Dawn 2010 12th Anniversary Celebration
