Fix the bloody caves already!

This makes two patches since the entrances to my mining caves became blocked. Don't get me wrong, heart shaped boxes and cute candy are dandy, but can you guys focus on fixing the actual FUNCTIONALITY of the game now? Its been a couple months now, I try to run into my favorite South-facing cave and bounce off of the black area in front. Actually, I take a step up and THEN I stop dead. This is in Fel on the classic client. I don't know if the enhanced client folks are getting this or not. I'm an honest miner, please let me mine! Honestly!

And I'm an honest soul who can't "talk" to the miners who have runes marked to the inside of these caves... I'm lonely and need company... I'd love a fix :mf_prop:

I'd love it more than anything to get a bunch of fixes, rather than v-day stuff that everyone oggily-boogilies over for about 1 week, and it's over. Funny how it happens, probably took more time generating artwork, and coding new items that possibly have bugs, than fixing a couple little bugs that actually affect our gameplay.

So true...

I guess it is time to share.

Almost all gaming studios have what is termed "Black-Ops" department.

This allows for increased actual cash flow.

While there are external organizations making real money off gold and virtual items, there are internal organizations doing the same.

Additionally, a portion of the market is shared through direct contracting with internal and external agencies.

You may disbelieve this but that does not make it false.

What occurs: An internal programer generates code in-game and deposits the resource on a character (mule) that may be owned either internally or externally.

The owner of the mule then posts the resource/character/currency on any number of websites for public sale.

The Free to Play game od D&D On-line has bypassed this middle-man and offers a on-line store where you can buy the required resources or items straight up. Other venues are still using the "Black-Ops" methodology.

This is one aspect of the reason you are simply not going to see the inside of those caves for a long, long time and will get the answer, "Mine somewhere/anywhere else, there is lots of room."

There you have it. The simple truth.

While you may be correct that not believing it doesn't make it false, believing it doesn't make it true. This isn't simple truth, it's pure speculation. Unless of course, you've got some empiracle evidence to prove your point other than a crappy free 2 play game.

A slight misunderstanding I think. The crappy (I agree) Free game exemplified bypassing the middleman.

Yes I have evidence that even were I to post could be discounted. A number of my RL friends are 3D gaming programers. That said, I guess an arguement could be made that they are all lying to me as they discuss this topic.

SO I guess if that arguement is pursued, my evidence breaks down to a matter of faith. So no, sorry, no hard evidence available.

Why wouldnt they just give a deed for 60k of ore.
Or why go through all the trouble of blocking a cave that would be found.

Unless your saying the move is just to create a place bots can move around undetected.

Then in that case couldnt a GM just pop in and see whats going on?

Maybe create a cavern that is hidden really hidden.

Just wondering.
