Six questions answered all month. The only one that appears to have taken more than 5 minutes to answer was the question about mana regeneration.

I can't believe there's not dozens and dozens of questions which would not take more than five minutes to answer. Surely there have been hundreds of questions submitted?

All questions that are not offensive in their form or not too easy (the very easy ones are moved sometimes to the Player Corner as they only require answer from an experienced player) - make it to the place where devs can see and answer them.

Why they remain unanswered - I don't know.

If they are unable to make castle and keeps customizable.
Why not make the plots bigger.
IE goto 20x20, 22x22
Would seem easy to do.
But this question was never asked to the devs.

Please don't assume that your questions haven't been asked. Every question posted has been passed through. We at Stratics DO NOT censor what gets asked except if it's a thinly disguised personal attack on the devs. Luckily we've had none of those so far.

Every post I've seen here save one, Magdalene's, seems to be laying the blame, correctly, on the UO team. At least that's how I read the posts.

Why Magdalene reacted the way she did, seemingly assuming that the posts were directed at Stratics, I can only speculate.

For my part, I know of several people who are critical of Stratics, but know of no one who blames Stratics for the UO team's failure to answer questions in the new forum. Most people seem to know that's the UO team's fault, not yours. We, the reading public, have no just cause I'm aware of to assume the posts aren't being passed on properly, and I don't get how the other posts in this thread were being read that way, not off-hand.

Magdalene's post didn't bother me at all. I thought she responded quite well. In fact I actually ended up in the Players Corner forum reading posts there. It makes sense that the extremely easy questions would be moved there. I'm confident the UO mods have played the game as much as most of us and can discern whether or not an easy question needs to go to the developers or the players.

To second what Galen said, we don't believe Stratics isn't passing the questions along. It's clearly the UO teams failure for not spending even remotely enough time answering some questions.

Cal where are you. Direct each team member to answer one or two questions a week please?

If you know how to frame a question you are much more likely to get it answered. A spark of wit, a little joie-de-vivre, the tact of Cleopatra and the nous of Ptolemy.
A bit like that guy who asked the rideable gorillas question.

... I think it evens out. FoF got, at most, 1 useful question a week, and often not even that.

There's a higher ratio of useful answers. "Useful" meaning not necessarily useful to everyone, but at least useful to the specific area the question is dealing with.

Call me crazy, but I'm not going to complain that we're not getting enough useless info that we already know repeated back at us.

We're not getting enough communication from the people who run the game that WE fund.

If the Devs believe their level of communication for the last year (far more, honestly) has been acceptable, by any stretch of the imagination, then they need to think again.

UO is the only MMO I've seen where the Dev team hides and avoids communicating with the people who pay their salaries. I have been told that the Devs need to 'ask permission' to post, which if true, shows either a hostile work environment and/or a management with a deluded sense of UO having any bearing on the functioning of other MMOs.

I've asked questions ... many of them... not once have they been answered.... heck last time I sent in a page and a half of questions...

I'm tired of asking questions and getting no answer...

So then they are finally going to let us change the color of the chat Whoo.... I was so concerned there..... at least you can READ the chat in the journal.... but yet time and time again I ask "Could you please pretty please change the default color of the emote to something we can read in the journal!?!"....

Over 6 years I've asked for this... to no avail.

DEVs don't answer anything anymore... I'm still waiting for fixes that are YEARS in the waiting.

Still can't stack chocolate making ingredients. Thought they were fixing that... Still can't enhance clubs and some crooks facing a certain direction... that's been on the books for years.

Tired of waiting for DEV responses.... I'm still under the belief that EA WANTS UO to fail..... very badly... Otherwise they would have better customer support.

I picked up a copy of a game off the shelf the other day ... and I was all set to buy it.... and then I realized it was an EA game.... so I put it back on the shelf and said... NOPE... never again. You have me for UO because I really love the game... but unless you do a 180 on the customer service I'm getting there... you can forget me ever buying another EA game outside UO again.
