Dear Duke Irvyn

I have to write you on some main concerns about last night. Firstly I am still not happy that we used the diamond against the Orcs but now of even more concern are that we have left this weapon behind unguarded in an area used by new more intelligent Orcs, could they get control of it and use it against us. Nathans behaviour is also still far from normal. He did not insist on people wearing Orc masks in this covert operation. So our actions last night would have alerted them to something being wrong. I gave him some Orc masks to hand out which he did not do and returned them to me a while later within the cave when our presence was already know to the orcs. Later when we all left the Orc cave there was a notable delay before Nathan followed us alone through the gate. He then later admitted his memory has still not returned and I informed him that he could be a threat to Sosaria in his percent state and it needs sorting quickly or he should step down till it is. Also of concern was his inability to question the Orc himself, he complained of not having the stomach for it. Yet surly this is a job he should be more accustomed to than leading. A redeeming point is that he did not allow anyone to kill the Orc and had it brought to Trinsic for questioning. I still have been unable to contact the Queen on these concerns. I only hope we can get something from the Orc prisoner.

*OOC*

I would just like to say, although this intrigue is interesting you have to admit that last night was a little overwhelming, to the point I left in disgust at some of the comments being thrown around by the players.

I'm sure our EM's where at their wit's end over the whole insanity last night, up to the point I was amazed they kept their cool and did not just summon 50 paragon greater dragons on them.

As for the orc cave's, A lot of us wore mask's but even some of the more regular people where not wearing them even though it was known we would need them.

Also the whole incident at the start, we've known for weeks we'd be taking the Crystal to them, everyone last night was acting mystified about the whole thing and started arguing over frankly a load of tosh. Again I feel for our beloved EM who just turned around and put an end to the pointless bickering. The arguments about the do's and do not's had been clarified at a meeting 2-3 weeks ago.

Maybe after last night's shambles, Can we cut him a little slack?

I am sorry but I had to type this somewhere as I am disheartened greatly after last night.

Escaflowne will love this comment,

The people of Vesper showed more respect for Dawn and Britain than it's residents :p

Dear Lady Flame,

I think it is important that we talk, about Nathan, the orcs, the curse diamond and this "New Order". I do not want to commit too much to writing, in case this should fall into the wrong hands. I will be at the Trinsic Rose tonight, or can make myself available over the weekend if that is more convenient for you.

One piece of information we obtained from the orc is that their headquarters is indeed in the sewers beneath Britain. We will need to act on this very soon, I believe.

I'm sorry last night upset you so much, I'm sure things will be back to normal soon. And yes Escanflowne will be grinning from ear to ear at your comment, I just hope Davion does not get to hear it he's unbearable as it is. As for giving Nathan some slack don't worry he would tell me when he needs a break, just don't ask me to give him a hug though. In truth this banter has been going on and off since Nathan first appeared and is often encouraged by Nathan himself by the responses he gives and he can end it any time. I must admit I use things like him not having a chance to give masks out last night as him not wanting too but it all adds to the shodowy (is that even a word) side of Nathan. As for my disagrement with Nathan about leaving the weapon at the orc cave it was a continuation of a previouse chat over the leaving of the weapon and was in character on Flame's disagrements with Nathan over it, of course I know the stubon man was going to do it anyways.

I've calmed down a bit now myself,

From my view I'm no RP'r, heck I run a full 70's suit and carry a bunch of slayers, but when it come's to taking part in someone's hard work I try and do my best to fit in, offer a few words, try and be a "charactor".

I just found over 1/2 the people there just didn't seem to give a toss.

It hurt me a lot knowing the effort people put into these things. I Should have stayed till the end just to show support to everyone but I couldn't. There are certain line's I don't like to see crossed.

I'm sorry I hijacked this little thread I was still reeling about, what seemed to me, all the work lost so fast... By the duck, nathan, yourself and probably a dozen other people I can't name or remember so well.

What can I say, sometimes I care a little too much.

That's pretty much the definition of an RPer :)
Yeah, there's this idea that the Europa RPers are the ones that walk around with GM armour, following a strict code of conduct.
But the truth is that not doing that doesn't make you not an RPer.

It's playing a character that makes you an RPer.
Not that it's particularly relevant, but I don't like the idea that people don't think they are (or can be) RPers without leaping into the war ring.

What I think happened, though, was that the plague the night before put the EM events on the radar, with their special loot.
Ultimately, you can tell when an event is seen as a loot source when there's obvious new characters, that have been created with the hopes of scooping something rare.

These people will slowly avoid events when they don't get any more items they can sell on Atlantic for 500 billion gold. :) No worry Angel!
