Why would they give us the option to make max but still get us for afk macroing? doesnt make sense.

To help prevent carpal tunnel syndrome. You can leave a character unattended in game as long as the character is not doing anything, not even talking. If your character is doing anything and you're not there to respond to a GM you can get jailed and possibly banned...
Always been that way. When I started playin this game people actually had to hit the training dummies on top of the guard tower for a good 12 - 16 hours to get their strength up enough to venture out of town. We would create a last target macro and stick a toothpick in our keyboards. However, if you were smart and didn't want to get caught and banned, you would sit there and read a book or do something else in front of your pc while your character beat on the dummy.

Now I'm not trying to get in anybodies craw here, but I just don't see how you can slam someone for possibly using a speedhack and then turn round and endorse unattended macroing.
Either you are going to play the game within the confines of its intended limitations, or you are not.
But don't choose to be one and lambast others that choose the same direction but a slightly different path.

Now that I don't play anymore, I can finally be honest about this:
**** a bunch of 'manual' work.. If you think its acceptable to sit there for 100 hours to 120 ninja, or even worse TAMING, you're out of your mind.. Honestly, thats re-re-re--********. Stop policing everyone's free-time, and I think theres a good chance you'd get some old player-return, or new players. Ever seen Alexandria? They don't seem to have a problem keeping their player base up.

I never blasted anyone for speedhacking =/ Technically, I wouldnt consider this serious afk macroing either. I am talking about setting it to make max of a certain potion and going to do a load of laundry. Not like I am setting it to make max and walk out the door to go shopping.
Just you quit or your entire guild, because i was looking forward to the fights.

Ive never seen so many tamers on in one group in Origin in a long time. I wish we'd have had more people on...
It was fun though... I died on 3 characters.. managed to kill 2 people and a few pets...

Heres a novel idea:
why don't the Origin pvpers make, or bring, mages over to pac, and you can have an all-out mage tourney. 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v4 and 5v5. 'Show up, and shut-up' as the expression goes.. I'd put every gp i have on my supr mages.

SUPR is a late-nite guild, if that helps any. Generally speaking, around 9 central is when everyone starts logging in.
I can tell you right now who it would be:
1v1: orion
2v2: + Pink floyd
3v3: + Juvi (Peter North)
4v4: + Ezra
5v5: + Andy (mono della morte)
Thats an ugly ass lineup, but if you think it would be fun, I'd say go for it. It'd be fun for the whole fam!
On a side note: Where is tony yayo? I wish very much to reunite with him. Now THERE is a solid mage, and a solid guy.
edit: Sorry I am no longer available.. I doubt I could make the cut into 5v5 anyways..

And Sorry Salmon to break your heart, but PVP on origin is very lacking, hence why Matt and myself play larger shards with skilled opponents. Every shard we xfer a char to to fight your guild they log off unless they can 10v2. Maybe you should step your game up and play a real pvp shard and stop trying to puff your chest on origin.
And as for your buddy SanTa ClaWs, he really lives up to his name. You only see him come around one time a year, the rest of the time he is hiding/smoke bombed/stealthing around. I saw him around christmas time, Guess i should wait till next year to see him again.

yep. all fun and games. I've faught everyone on pacific and I gotta say, If you're 'pretty' confident in your mage skills, you are probably like me. mediocre at best. If you think you are an AMAZING mage, you're probably still like me.. . . . . me-di-o-cre. . . Still fun to try though. I can give almost any mage on pac a run for their money on a good day. (could). Top mages on pac are Orion, Kyrite, Chad, Lambo. None of which are even fun at ALL to fight..Like.. Not. even. funny..i may get smoked, but i would love to give it a whirl

King Salmon was doing despise when i ran in, he just ran out like a pansy. Comes back on King Salmon while I was fighting and orange and he dies like a chump.
