Most go for tracking, for the DS max damage. Also fence is more popular then swords, for the poison.

hai- parasitic poison lets you grab a few heals if you need them

Bo knows these temps here are few pointers. No need for tactics to be 120, you will be fine with 90. The difference between 90 and 120 is about 2 points of damage. Bo used to take 100 trackin and 70 med. Those deathstrikes are mana costly. Bo would suggest bleed, disarm, mortal, dismount, shadow strike (is nice for defense) as specials. Would also suggest a weapon with high ssi.
Now Bo has also used alchemy, magery instead of tracking. Both are very useful and can be dangerous. Poisoning is kinda of a waste of time, Bo believes. Everyone carries cure pots anymore, and if they are not, are they even worth killing?
Bo currently runs a stealth necro ninja, it is a really tight temp, and costly when you die but has good damage output.

i disagree, well yeah its a pancake to get to a hundred and might take eons but it saves my ass in a fight everytime,

here is what i ran for a ninja, well at least here was the target template, never finished..

fencing120 only for a dagger or a spike
stealth 80 for shadow strike
poison 100 for pois strike :p
hide 100
tracking 100 could be more but dmg points not a huge difference considering u have gm poison
ninjitsu 120
alchemy 100

if ur an elf and if u use a dagger or spike with ssi ull have plenty of manna to slay,
granted this template is used to hunt and murder, not very good template in field battles, but its very easy to cheat death with pots and wolf form.
If ur worried about manna drop alchemy run enhance pot jewls, put on medi and maby adjust ur tracking and stealth, if 12 more points in deathstike means that much to u

oh and by the way with 100 poison, infectious strike costs 5 mana points same with 80 stealth for shadow strike (shadow strike is like a smoke bomb but way better imo) no need for tactics

What happens if your victim stands stills and drinks a cure, and either hits you back or goes "all kill." Do you really think you are going to kill anyone that is half way decent at this game with that setup? You will hit for maybe 6 points of damage using those weapons and that setup. That must be why Bo has never heard anyone in vent say "OMG i just got wtfpwnjobbered by Mr. Stinky Pants"
For you to say shadow strike is way better than a smokebomb just proves you have no clue what you are doing. What ever happened to that pvp school? Cuase Bo thinks this turkey needs to attend some classes.

im building a guy like this myself. i kow my dude needs alot of tweaking, but so far i have 111 swords (going to 120), 100 tact, 100 anat, 100 hiding, 80 stealth, going up to 120 ninja, and then trowing the rest in med. also have gm poisoning on a stone. im still mostly training skills on this guy, but i have taken him out into the field a few times, lookin for noobs. i think i will definitely need to beef this guy up a bit though. i was trying to just run GM leather for the low risk factor, but i think ill need to end up joinin factions to run the beefier suits. right now i am running around with a pretty nasty bladed staff, but i might have to go to a 1 hander to chug and shuriken. still figuring this guy out. seems like it will be fun though

#1 - hide/stealth/ninja can get you out of just about any bad situation. That's why people complain about it. It's a get out of jail free card.

#2 - Poison is very good against unprepared targets. Unprepared means they don't carry cure pots. These are typically newbies, crafters, or pvm'ers. If you want to pk the helpless, then it's a very easy way. Poison sucks against a prepared target. Prepared obviously means they are carry cure pots, because you spend 5 mana infectious striking the target, they spend 0 mana and 0 seconds drinking a cure potion. Who's going to win that battle?

#3 - If you have ninjitsu, which allows you to poison someone from a distance, on the run, using up 0 mana, why would you put 100 skill points in poisoning? The only benefit to poisoning is it allows you to re-poison a weapon making infectious strike easier (which costs 5 mana) and it ups your poison one level (which is pretty much zero benefit as well).

if level 5 poison is so useless, y waste ur time with level 4 shurikens?

ive had great success with level 5 poison, greater cures dont work everytime and u just hit ur button again when they finaly do cure :p
and dont get me wrong im not saying level 5 is leet (may have been way back when) but it helps a lot, at least cleans up my sloppy pvp.
its ur call if its worth a hundred skill points, depends on ur play style, most ninja temps are just good for one on one murder or running away from a gank sqaud, not a real good field temp unless u got a mighty fine gank sqaud to back u up.

Again, if you already have 120 ninja:
Shurikens cost you no mana to use, nor any additional skill points. And they can be used on the run and at a distance.

Level 5 poison requires:
At least 5 mana to use, 80+ skill points in poison, and you must be standing right next to your target.

The benefit of Level 5 poison is not worth the associated cost (5 mana & 80+ skill points) when you already have ninja.

I'd run..

120 fence
115 arch
120 ninja
100 hide
75 stealth
90 tact
100 track

Or

120 fence
120 ninja
100 track
100 hide
75 stealth
90 tact
Rest in med

First one is to dismount, deathstrike with a kryss, and if they run mow them over with moving shot...

Second one is for an easier template with less buttons.

level 4 poison = balls, if ur gonna waste ur time poisoning do it right and use level 5,

if ur gonna make a sweet ninja temp be a necro ninja, much more effective and u can bump ur level 4 star up to a level five if ur not a dummy

and that would cost u another 200 points depending on how necro u wanna be, and also a necro ninja is a lil costly on the mana side but its wel worth it if u got the time, and if ur playing uo i think u do

yeah, i think i am going to switch out anat for tracking and maybe try out gm poison instead of med, see how that works out,

so, should be swords, tact, hiding, stealth, ninja, tracking, poison. we'll see how that goes. if too much mana, ill take poison back off.

do yall recommend joining factions for the suits, even though this would primarily be a PK and not a field fighter?

but the rest for med, and whatever else u can cram in there

anyway track for few screens evil omen deathstrike = crazy dmg

25% more than 60 hp maby more... take a buddy to test shard and try it out

You people are clueless....
I think he wants an actual assassin template, not a field ninja like many of us run. Which is why I think the tracking is a good idea, you want to damage as fast as possible, and be gone.
