So the rest of the time they are playing Minesweeper??...
USUALLY when the devs go this quiet, it means they're working on the next patch/publish.... USUALLY.
They are all playing WoW.Just curious, have we been abandoned in the New Year?? 2010 the end of UO? Strange, havent seen or read any posts of new publishes, or things to come for UO in a month!
That can be good news. *giggles* I left DAOC under GOA a few years ago. One of the reason was the huge delay between publishes. When I left, the US server were about 8 months ahead of the european ones. (That was around 2 major patches/publishes behind.) Lats time when I had a look at the game the gap got increased significantly. A pity for the game ....He also made a post yesterday on the Dark Age of Camelot Herald that the company that the company who was licensed to run DAOC in Europe for eight years (GOA) is handing that responsibility back to Mythic: http://www.camelotherald.com/news/news_article.php?storyid=3999. Read that article and perhaps try to squint between the lines. I would imagine that short little article has made things a bit chaotic in the Mythic offices. Andy also made two other DAoC Herald posts this week.
James' last post on the Warhammer forum was on 12/29.
Wow that was a damn hard question they fielded right there. Record breaking time too, only 3 days! Glad Elwood was found. I'm guessing our devs were never very good at Waldo.hey now, I just noticed a Dev answer a question in the ASK A DEV forum.
(granted, it has been three weeks since that forum had any activity...)
I think its time to bring back the UO version of the game. I can't reclal what shard exactly it was on (perhaps on a few) but it was fun. A picture was posted on the stratics forums of UO Waldo in a random location and everyone had to guess where it was. To be the winner of the contest you had to post the coordinates and an image of your char in the same exact spot.I'm guessing our devs were never very good at Waldo.
