Make us Siege vets happy before you bring new blood onto the shard that may or may not like it. I'm glad some word got through...but I've been welcomed to Siege. I don't need a refresher.

Oh I'm all for new blood, and we need it, but we can't just keep having this one type of event over and over.

lol, i think its pretty funny that people got so upset about the outcome of the last event. thats just like Siege 101. haha, who cares if you lost your new cloak? you either just got to siege and therefor it doesnt matter because you probably got one on your fulltime shard 6 months ago when prodo got them, or you are a siege regular and will have the money to buy one (if you decide you need it) at a later date lol. if people cant stand to have thier new character killed at a social event, they probably wouldnt stay on siege anyways.

i want more new people here on siege, but would prefer if it wasnt a bunch of whining trammies. might as well weed them out before waste too much time here lol.

To me it's not so much that they got killed for the cloaks. It's the total lack of knowledge about Siege this EM has. Between giving out rewards at a dungeon and trying to have duels in a guarded town - has he even read the Siege ruleset?

How do you give an intro to Siege event when you don't know the shard yourself?

Maybe he needs 30 days in NEW...

I'm relatively new here, and happy to show up to an event regardless if I get killed or not, always happy to test out my 80 magery/eval in some pvp if a chance arises haha.

I can see where a lot of you are coming from, but we should just be thankful that someone out there is at least pretending that Siege isn't neglected, right? hah!

EMs dont usually do their thing on the shards they played on do they? wouldnt that be a conflict of interest? Although if we are voting I vote nightstalker too, good blend of RP and ruthless murderous fun perfect for a siege EM

I think they specifically EM for shards they don't play on to avoid bias.

Which works great for prodo, not so great for Siege. By definition, nobody that knows what's going on here can EM then.

not that im against new blood, i just dont think the events are worth while, id rather be putting green thorns where i shouldnt be putting them than going to newbie events every month.......

I'm hoping that I will be able to make the Welcome this time. Depends if my dad will be able to come for a visit or not. Seeing as how it's been over a year since I've seen him, it would probably be rude of me to ditch him for the event...
