Why do peaple who don`t talk like a moron hafta leave chat just because of a few peaple that do? I mean it is general chat correct? I think you guys like to talk in general just so the rest of Siege can see it. Well thats prolly your hopes. Otherwise the minority that makes up the guttermouths would leave our chat and make their own..... but what fun would that be,talking amongst yourselves with no one else to be your audience and listen to that garbage.
I hope the devs get the Ignore User option in pronto. I can`t imagine the retardedness that must make up more populated shards general chat.
No offense to you regular Trash talkers that do it with a little cooth....that`s part of PvP`ing and prolly a fun part of it at that.
I`m referring to the obvious asshats that need to be muted.

It's not so bad if the trash-talking is a little witty, but some of these guys start yapping and it's like open mic night at the special olympics.

I agree,its not so bad most times. I actually get a kick out of reading some of it. Kind of funny sometimes.
On a side note, I hafta thank Sparticus who happened upon me one night with my pickaxe in my hand......trying to mine and keep up with the chat at the same time.
Thanks for the pass from a poor lil miner. It took a lil longer to reply since I always forget to hit ENTER first to talk in the EC.
The issue I find is not what he is saying, its that he is spamming. And flooding the channel. Now sure we can leave the channel. But then what? He sees it gets quiet, and he moves channels and starts again.

u can always just complain to a gm or start a new channel, and ya thats just the way it is for now

If we could ignore sentence containing words used trash talk, it could help alot, my first word to ignore would be "your mom"

I logged on for the first time in awhile and after about 15 min I was asking Elmer how the hell do I shut this off, these guys are just annoying. Then I read this post too funny, ignore option is definately needed.
Blah is (or appears to be) a human being that craves and needs attention.
When one works with children in a day care set up, one finds that there will always be a child or two that craves and needs attention whom may not get any decent attention in the positive vein, at home. When these children can not get attention in positive ways, they opt to try to get them in negative ways, any ways that they can.
These negative ways oft do get them attention, and then these kids expand upon it and nurture it and grow it..doing more and more negative things to get the attention they need or want. One can put them in a time out box when you are [just the day care worker], but ya know that child needs something more or better at home from their parents, or they would not become *negative attention getters.*
Kinda sad really when one sees this begin in, as early as 2-3 yr. old children, sadder still to see it so developed, in someone older. Someone also seems to have issues with his or her own mother, thus does not hold any respect for motherhood nor is able to respect any females, at all.
One can leave the chat channel or do not even bother to respond even one word to someone that is so needy for negative attention.
Best to ignore them nearly entirely, by not feeding/providing them with attention or comments via our giving them more material to continue to feed, their egos craving needs for attention, in the negative.
They need help, the kind of help, which we can not provide for them in their rl lives, in any game or game chat outlet.

I worked in a swimming bath, we had some kids who was there several hours each day. Their parents gave them a card to the bath to get get rid of them.
This kids needed to speak about everyday life, that be how to interact, why school is needed or other ordinary stuff and I had the time for it sitting there watching the people in the bath.

Blah is a kid who craves attention. I don't hate him for this. My middle child was...actually still is...like this. As is the case many times with strong personalities, my son has some amazing good attributes. I just have trouble dealing with him in my face for an entire evening. I came home from Christmas eve with a headache that is now just easing. This is my beloved son. Unfortunately, we do not get to see blah's good points, just the in-your-face.

Sadly Blah is like 32 or 34 years old.....
How do you know? Have you meet him? he/she do sound very young.

I was on last night when blah was doing his thing. I finally filtered the language for the others that were saying things I didnt like. I tried paging that didnt work, I tried ignore that didnt work either. I stay in the chat because someone may need a question answered that no one will or can answer. I even like talking to my 'enemys', its a lot of fun, But when someone like blah comes along and spams thats to much. He sounds like a spoiled 10 year old who was never taught any manners.
Definately needs to be an ignore user command. I do not think the content of what someone says woudl make me leave a channel but the non stop spam had a good portion of my screen taken up and was counter productive to what i was tryign to accomplish in game. If Blah is indeed my age (35-37) then he really needs to grow up a bit.

No matter what Blah has done, it is against ToS to tell players to stop
playing the game. This does not support Community.

Ok genius, he didn't tell him to quit the game. He told him to go back to tram, which would be on another shard. Thank god you're not a mod and actually in a position to enforce the TOS you don't even understand.

I get what your saying, but gen chat is useful for more than just the PvPers. It provides community for all of us, which is especially needed for those of us in tiny guilds. And most of us aren't talking about his trash talk. We are talking about trying to kill things while the left half of our screen is filled with his spam.
i get what he was talking about i was in chat last night and yea the second hald of my screen got ful and i do think its bull**** but i still think you dont like it change rooms or just drop outta them

I have an offer out for whoever can find me 120 running scroll. He kept running from Kage 1 v 1 and said his excuse was "Kage has parry as a skill, I am just using my skills"; did the last patch add running in? How long does it take to get it to 70? I also really really want that 120 running scroll!

so several of us switched channels last night and went on to have decent evening. Now this morning I wonder...do I go to channel one...or two? Where are people gunna be?
