Well I hope you all did will with the halloween masks and other speculative stuff from the last post.

Whats next? In the ever changing world of the merchants...

I think rubble.

Pure speculation - a few pieces of the old rubble might have value. How much? If you have some I wouldnt worry. If you dont. Picking up some random pieces for 400k or less is worth the gamble.

Resouces. Ingots leather wood. I dont think they are worth buying. More likely better gains gathering it yourself. That is for the Magencia rebuild.

Id bet a bit that dumping your gold in Magencia might be a nice reward. I feel a gold sink reward coming.

But as far as speculation and profit for merchants. Not much happening.

Have you notice the price essences dropping? To easy to get now. Yeah. This is the time you swipe up all the essence for 20k each and hoard.

It might be time to clean out the houses and your vendors and just sell the old junk. Doesn't seem like anything is on the horizon.

It will be interesting to see if the "rubble" from the Magencia destruction event comes into play as part of the resources required to rebuild. There was indication that not all of the shards will have the same outcome so what if some shards had a much higher turn in of their Magencia rubble pieces than another full of people who just wanted to keep them as deco or hold out for higher vendor prices. I for one would love to see DRAMATIC differences between the "New Magencia" islands when this next event/arc gets done.

Just a thought...

You can't have my rubble. Uh uh. Nope. No way. Never. Over my dead body. Not in a million years. Not on your life. Never gonna happen. Snowball's chance in hell. When pigs fly. In other words.....It's not happenin'.

That's a really nice collection there Connor, I have a lot of the same stuff but was never lucky enough to get any of the larger trees.

I bought the coconut palm. The only large tree I got was a burned version of the tree next to the ore cart (can't remember the name).

When the fires started around a plant that was there from the start, they colored. The demon of light exploded and release them. So they first turned a bronze color, light grey, gray and then black untill released, The rarest color plant then being the bronze. Took timing enticing the demon to pop just as brought close to a bronze plant. The normal colored plants are in abundance. There had been hot spots if demon exploded would release the same item over and over. I had a cheering squad at a location that released the same half of tall back bench. We milked that location for at least 30 bench halves. Had another spot like that for tall palm trees. Never did find spot for the other bench half, thanks to the heros that thought they could save the island. I got 4 of the six moongate stones Tram side. Stealthers got the other two offering no help in that kill zone. Demon Blood tiles side bonus to that area.

Other great thing about the event was the BR infested chest could be earned. Nearly got every possible demon name from that event. Sadly, I doubt any us infested chest collectors will complete our collections. Truely earned rare item. Spawning, killing and lucky looting one those chest. Ranks up there with paragon rare ore eli chest. I like those items that require dedication to the grind and faith in the RNG to earn unique items.

Those heros had been killing off the demons to save stuff to release when less plp had been on like the boat parts or the shells and display cases. Due to this poor gimmie game play, rubble is another thing I wont buy off vendors. Way most of the one offs had been earned doesn't make them rare to me. Took 5 days to get plp to listen on how the rubble release worked. In the end I went on a rampage and killed every light demon spawned. My way to save those lacking the backbone to use there well known characters instead of there unknown ones to kill redlined demons. Easy to find the famous players homes with loads of one offs proudly on display thanks to there no fame names actions.

In the end it was the best event to date. Even the greedy couldn't break the fun meter with their intentions.

The Infamous Lord Wesley, Light Demon Destroyer. And thanks to players actions and the Vanguard event for dread warhorses. The Infamous Lord Hexvexxer, Frenzy Ossi Wrangler.

Yeah that's it. I sold that off in my original collection of over 250 pcs of rubble. Most of what you see in the pic there was given to me by the friend that gave me that house. I only kept a few of the pieces I got from the invasion and the only one bought was the coconut palm.

one of my alliance guilds did get a GM warning for specifically targeting and killing light demons, a load of players paged on them when other shards were reporting rare rubble.

many smaller shards saw their rubble get xfered to larger shards for sale.
and years after that event I know several folks that quit that had tons of it now lost to the game.

I hope there is a sliding scale by shard population at least a tiny bit.

I wish they would blow up another city and create more rubble for us to collect. :D

Indeed, I was in Tram the whole time and didn't even know about the Fel side of things until way after the fact. I would love for them to do another event like this so I can actually get my own stuff instead of buying it after the fact. I just ended up with a few cursed arties :\.

No one made much selling new masks but i did get some great deals buying them. For some reason there wasnt much market. It looks like they will continue to go down short term.

they should do all the cities at once! it would be a true test of character...save the cities which means little to gain except aesthetics, or let the demons reduce every city to rubble, and players can go nuts over the pieces.
