I am trying to build a new character on Siege and it doesn't seem to train stealth as I walk from hiding, I have to click on stealth to work the skill. Is there some setting that will automatically enter stealth from hiding or is this just another of the added challanges of Siege? My Hiding is at 60 and my stealth is only at 16, but as I have said, I have only been able to work it as I click on stealth as Im hiden, not just walk while hiden.

hiding needs to be 80 before training stealth
You'll need rather more stealth than 16 before you can move with it. Keep using it through a 'use skill - stealth' macro for a while, or get some ninjitsu jewels and use rabbit/rat form. You don't need hiding at 80, that's out of date info.

on siege, you need to hit the stealth button until you reach 25 real skill in stealth. and i think the hiding need is 50 now, not 80. once you reach 25 stealth by clicking, you can start to gain by walking. also, make sure your training at this low level only wearing clothes, not armor or anything.
OK, I have got to 25.5 and my hide is almost 70 but as soon as I reached 25.1 I stopped gaining for like 2 weeks. I then went into town and I gained to 25.5 but i didn't notice why. I am only in clothes, zero armor. I was out and about but i guess Ill hang in town a bit and see if I can gain more. Thanks for the help.

hmmm, thats funny. check on stratics and make sure you are wearing the correct items to optimum gains. if your wearing the right combo of items (i think maybe you need a leather gorget and leather gloves right now?) you can take it up to 75 in your house. i have done that with a few chars now. ill double check when i get home what items you need for what level. good luck man

I think you need to be stealthing around somebody, like an NPC, for it to work best. Go stealth around a bank.
