Does anyone still do champions with random people?

I'm sitting outside of the blighted grove. Wondering if anyone still makes a random party and does champions? anyone?

Now that the Turkey/Thanksgiving event is over I am sure it will happen more often. There is a lad that posts here to invite anyone and everyone to Valor Champ spawn occasionally during the week that I try to join if I see the post.

We need a dedicated shard hunt night perhaps? There are many people including myself that have no big guild to go out with every night. Any volunteers to host this weekly?

With RL Holiday stuff going on all month, I imagine it would be hard to get this really going until after the new year.

If such a thing were done, what night(s) of the week would be best for everyone?

I just got one yesterday. Was farming in BG walked out to switch to crafter and got the message to accept. I accepted and they said they doing mel. Yay for me I was on my whammy, didnt get to honor Mel and have a 100% cold dmg weap. Didnt do much dmg, but still got a cut of loot from spamming CW to dmg her more.

Thanks whoever you guys were, that was nice.

And I picked up with a new friend Chevy where we do Dreadhorn together. Still looking for a good dexxer bard to do chief with me.

I suppose icqing people to join in hunts with their respective guilds is not appropriate enough? But then you did not say just how big a guild you were looking to go out with every night.*smirks*


To the op:
As the New Year comes about I think you'll find various trammel champ spawns being done all the time, just run them. The peerless are more of a guild by guild thing it seems where hunt times are made and attended by the members, while others joining in are hit or miss.

I would do a tram champ anytime with random people but as for a fel champ i would not do with anyone but those i could trust and count on.

WTF is the point in a tram champ....Ok I can understand a Rictor or semidar for the gladiators collar and lt sash. but the rest are crap...maybe meph gives a decent replica but cmon man. Anywho wth is so hard about going to island or one of the ICE spawns and pounding out a champ. If you bring the right templates and know what your doing any spawn can be done with 2 people.

Not trying to be a smartass but whats fun about dealing with mass low end spellcasting creatures tearing up your imbued stuff when you know your not gonna get any real reward?

I enjoy champs in both facets. Tram champs offer their own rewards. You can still get replicas, minor arties, nice jewels/weapons to imbue, SOTs. I once looted a hatchet at Ilsh Valor that sold for 80 mil (pre-imbuing days, of course). Last night, my wife looted a 1/3 bracelet with nothing else on it - ideal for imbuing. Besides, I find the challenge of completing the champ enjoyable, even if I don't receive any tangible reward.

Like I said to each their own I just dont get it personally. The few Ilsh spawns I have been to have just been a mess. But I'm used to spawning with a group that knows what there doing...If anyone wants to learn how to 2 man ANY SPAWN PM me ill let you in on some tricks. May not work in the Ilsh spawns due to paragons and me not knowing the landscape. But if you want tips on Fel spawns PM me.

I'd like to take you up on that, myself. UWF doesn't do fel champs. I could use a good mentor.

They are good to take groups of less experienced guild members. When I was a Guild Leader I took groups all the time. A Felucca Champ Spawn is not the best place to teach new people how to hunt.

Now that I'm on my own I appreciate being able to go to one any time I want without needing a big group. I meet lots of nice people that way. When the dust settles on the Holidays more people will go.
