Will the "selecting a new skin color" that you will provide for our messed up bs skin hues affect our hair color? Can you please fix the skin color without f'ing up our hair color?
Because some of us purchased the new hairdye off the website and it's totally f'ed up on YOUR (devs) part to mess that up when we paid for that...and if it does mess up our hair color are you going to provide the hairdye to us for free or you gonna make us buy it again just to get more money off us?

Actually don't Paroxy Swampies have a unique identifier? Something like a "Summoned" tag or something?
if you change from human to elf yes it changes your hair you lose your special hair dyes.
Not to sound pissy but most of us logged in considering we all were swapping tickets and claiming tickets on all our chars.. a little note on the herald would of been nice stating this so possibly some of us coulda saved a headache in it all.
No..thats not what im talking about. Im referring to the "fix" the devs will provide to elves skin color that THEY f'ed up...which should NOT include messing up hair color when some of us have special dyed hair color that can only be obtained from the website or pay millions for off someone on the game with game gold. Don't f*** with the hair man...thats just wrong when someof us spent money to have the color we want.
Thats totally ripping off loyal paying customers...me being one that pays for more than 1 account on UO.
I agree. When we do provide a solution for fixing your skin hue, we will make sure it does not affect hair dyes.

Losing a mount worth 7 mil minimum, possibly on multiple characters, by simply dismounting or dying isn't a big enough issue?
gargs seemed to be fixed but the elves arent. mine are still purple

All swampy's are green now.
My gargs still purple.
Not mine. My proxy, upon dismounting, turned back into proxy green. I went to the stable, got my other regular swampy out, and he had the color of his barding deed. I removed the barding deed and he was the standard green color. I mounted and dismounted him several times and he stayed the standard swampy green, not proxy green. *shrugs*. Guess I'll know for sure when I see the damage I do, or don't, take.

All in all it was the right decesion to relook and patch this system, i have seen also in the SA beta many problems with it.
Next time you should better add paroxymus and other special things to the TC bank, otherwise there is no way to test it, also there should be a clear way, how i can report a bug on TC.

My elf was in vamp form, when I logged in today he was still in vamp, but had his normal skin hue instead of white. Casting vamp twice fixed this.
My regular swamp dragon lost the armor when I dismounted,
made a new barding deed and all is well.
My gargoyle hue is fine.
I've logged on with both these chars everyday, so I dunno why I was spared hue problems.

you are very lucky. each of my elves are still pasty purple and my one gargoyle that I logged in with thursday night is bold blue. they have stated that they are going to fix this without messing up our hair.
everyone is saying a race change token... have i missed something, wouldn't it take two race change tokens per character? can you go elf to elf? or do you have to go elf to human back to elf?
I think a lot of people are inferring that if race change tokens are available then certainly a token/item to just change your skin color could be made. I tend to think it will work more like a permanent dye than a race change token, but really it does not matter. We know they have the "technology" it's just a matter of how it will be delivered.
The funny thing about that tho....

so...race change token? not a fix. Otherwise I'm pretty sure they would have done that by now. They have to come up with a different (NEW) way of doing it just to please us by not changing our hair color. Which I think is nice of them because in the past people have been SOL in certain stuff.

When you guys decided to make unraveling the contents of any bag possible, you forgot to program the error message routine so that it doesn't spam you once for every item you can't unravel, whether the reason is that you're too far from a soulforge, you aren't high enough in skill to unravel that item, or whatever reason.
Getting spammed with "You are too far away from a soulforge" up to 80-100 times is NOT funny! Does anyone in QA actually TEST these patches that go into client and server publishes, or do they look for what they want to be wrong with the system?
The most the unraveling system should say is that x out of y items could not be unraveled and list one or more of the possible reasons - once!
