Your right, In EC I have snow in Zento and its gorgeous.I wish I knew how to post pics in this forum, or I'd show you just how beautiful it looks in EC.
Aurelius, we are aware of the issues with snow. They are the same issues that come up every year. We do it because its fun, the players love it and it takes no time at all to put in. I do apologize for these bugs but it was either snow with a few minor bugs or no snow at all. We opted to go with snow.I've just about had enough... this sort of stuff would be seen by anyone in QA spending about 20 seconds looking at the game...

"High level"? I have no idea what on this scale counts as "unacceptably bad"'.
They are the same issues that come up every year. .
Even Luna looks a million times better. I was trying to put my finger on it...Your right, In EC I have snow in Zento and its gorgeous.
That'd be so very coolI do want to someday put in a proper system for changing artwork based on seasons. Then it could be more than just a short time thing for the holidays.
No snow on Legends in Luna not hardley any in malas????Even Luna looks a million times better. I was trying to put my finger on it...
And I realized it's because the snow breaks the horrible monotony of sandstone everywhere. It also mutes some of the garish colors people put on their vendors.
If only it would snow in Luna all year long.
There are a hundred small details that make it aesthetically pleasing, from the faded edges to the blue and green tints to the crystals poking above the ground.
Whoever did this deserves a big pat on the back.
It only shows up in the EC...No snow on Legends in Luna not hardley any in malas????
You gotta warn people before you post those 3D picsYour right, In EC I have snow in Zento and its gorgeous.
Now that would be awesome!I do want to someday put in a proper system for changing artwork based on seasons. Then it could be more than just a short time thing for the holidays.
So, that is how the snow got into Ter Mur! I was wondering how it might snow in the underworld...The void has saturated the planets core and is seeping up through the snow!
Thank God the sky is not falling.
I'm happy to hear that you plan to improve the game atmosphere. While you're at it, maybe there could be a smoother transition between day and night, too? And different light color at dusk and dawn?I do want to someday put in a proper system for changing artwork based on seasons. Then it could be more than just a short time thing for the holidays.

Do you know what would be really cool but probably difficult implementing...Aurelius, we are aware of the issues with snow. They are the same issues that come up every year. I like your suggestions (although the wether effects should be much less strong, otherwise the whole game would be very unbalanced). I always wished that weather should have a minor effect on gameplay.Do you know what would be really cool but probably difficult implementing...
Is changing weather patterns. Such as snow, rain, sleet, wind.
Imagine that on Tuesday - It is snowing in Trinsic. All fire related spells fizzle, cold spells do 2x damage and movement speed is slowed due to snow.
If it is raining - you cannot case fire spells, the ground is muddy and all movement slows to walking etc.
If its windy - then archers have -20% HCI etc.
It would completely change tactics and gameplay depending on weather. Now if the weather could change on a RL day to day basis and via seasons - that would be cool.
