Will costumes ever be usable in combat?

I love the idea, the art and placement in the hand, but then you can't fight while in costume, which is kind of bogus. Just the way it is? I mean, you can fight, just, not with weapons, and all

I guess Zombie invasions will still work hehe ... assuming wrestling still works?

Oh by the way, anyone eyeing that Ethereal Warrior or whatever, I don't know, sort of disappointing in my opinion ... 1 point for Zombie is great though

I mentioned this in the Sarah the Trader thread and I have to agree. I'll probably never use them but I can see where weapon use would be of importance to roleplayers and such.

I personally think they should be moved to the talisman slot.

To see yourself in costume go into UOA display settings and select view yourself as:

It would be kind of fun though to fight as my shadow dragon mask. Maybe it would work as a roleplay for wrestling and magery.

I thought I read somewhere that the masks broke quite easily in combat, so I would advise wearing them only when pimpin' around town ...

That should be fixed as of this publish, according to Pub 63's notes. Though I'm not sure if anyone has tested this on TC1.

Anyone brave enough to try?
