Problem with skill jewelry

On test center, I had played with 68 tactics, and used imbued jewelry to bring me to 90. Now back on my home shard when I do it, my skills raise, but here it tells me I must have the base 70/90 tactics to perform the function. What gives?

It has always been like that.

I believe you need 70/90 (I think 90 for special moves) Base, or unmodified by +skill.

Correct me if I'm wrong, people with better knowledge of the numbers. :)

Well that seems a bit silly. Under those rules, I think maybe tamers should be able to control a pet, but once they use it to attack me, it should say "No way Jose".

You have to have real skill for special moves - That was put into the pvp publish 42 or 43 if I remember right. Same way with Necro.

No, necro you just lose the abilities if you remove the items, I believe it was done to nerf sampires.

and it worked well as no one plays sampires anymore. they're just not as powerful as they once were, really sad.

/much sarcasm.

why must they nerf the whole game for the 5% that pvp? :gee:

First, it's closer to 25%. This was announced by Cal I think, quite some time ago.

Second, game imbalances show up much more blaringly in PvP than they do in PvM, mainly because monsters don't complain that the characters that are killing them are gimp and/or hackers.
