How much does it cost for say...a 2-3 month subscription to ventrilo? I wouldnt mind setting up a public vent for everyone to mouth, sell, newbies become accustomed to the shard and what not.

EDIT: I just checked out the value. I could purchase a 50 user vent set-up if people would be interested. I'll let this run for a day or two and see what kind of appeal it gets.

We use UGT Ventrilo hosting if you want to compare prices. We've been using them for 3+ years and have been pleased with their service.

and no one uses it. If people want to use vent I will come play as well. I suggest a couple diff channels at least.

Gilfane/White council has been hosting a semi public vent for years and NEW has a channel there so another option is share the cost of an already established vent. Or perhaps the guilds with already established vent could all make the lobby public and post the info here. I know several events that were a HUGE blast because diffrent guilds opened there vents to the shard.
WyRm in vent was the best.

How does voon compare with vent?

Where is this information at? Its never been posted since I began playing here. I've heard of those fight night vents and such, but not an all time open vent for everyone.

If there is, then yes post it and lets make good use of it.

Last year I had a netural vent going. Was so much fun to get guys from all guilds in one vent working togather to have fun at the same time. Was great to get some of the drama out of the way from sworn enemies... Having both KOC and TNT guys in the same vent.

On the late nights when its dead it was even better. Make sure you send me the ip for a public vent if it goes up I will be there!

I would recommend staying with ventrillo as thats what people use and trust rather than switching to something most people havent heard of.. aka voon

There are no Voon mods. It's free, you can make your own password protected channels. . *shrugs*

As far as the NEW vent information goes, it's in a book at the NEW guildhouse. Unless you're a total ass and have been banned from there, you should be able to get access from a NEW helper to look it up.
